NEWPORT SENEGAMBIA win the Refugee Week Football Cup 2024 Final 🏆
On Saturday 22 June 2024 marked the 11th edition of Newport Refuge Day. It was a Family fun Day with lots of activities for children and a Football tournament for men. The event was organised by Robert Muza and his Zimbabwe Newport Volunteering Association.
The turn out was huge thanks to the beautiful weather at our mercy which even made it possible for afternoon BBQ.
The Sudanese Team in Newport played against the unstoppable Newport Senegambia Team in the final but were conquered by the mighty Senegambia Worriors.
Thanks to everyone who took part in the tournament. Special thanks to the organisers and volunteers for serving free food and making the day a joyous and memorable one.
