Amazon ruined this by turning what should have been a Kung Fury style of short movie into a trashy 3 part mini-series on a subscription only service with 12 minutes of credits in every episode. I really hope they can write a better screenplay to make a full length film because THIS HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL TO BE SO MUCH MORE.
@@Sungroove Nope it's a medium movie, like 45 minutes. But the script is aweful, and a lot of lame shots in it. The intro (this video) is crazy but it's the only good thing in the entire movie.
I kinda vibe to the characters in that world or scene. They aren't necessarily supposed to be likeable people but roles the are filling in the world they operate in.
I actually read interview with directors about the inverted crosses. They said it was a commentary on christianity and the patriarchy. The inverted cross means the new religion which celebrates feminism. Such an oversimplification of Christianity - that its synonymous with the patriarchy. It made me appreciate the whole thing less. I can’t deny its still a beautiful work of art. IMO - Art is supposed to reflect life, not political ideologies.
Hahaha it's such a childish vision of criticism. They suck to tell a story, and just should create a video clip. The movie is so cringe by far, sad because they have interesting strong visual sequences.
Can anyone explain the inverted crosses? At first I thought maybe it was coincidence, however the director made it clear it was an inverted cross, cause the pilot had a christian necklace he was holding. Then it was just in your face though out the movie. Not to mention, the name of the director in the credits had the t in his name inverted also. So there is obviously some anti Christian agenda in the movie. Just interested if anyone thinks this isn't the case. Obviuosly it's his choice to do this, but found it weird it would be so in your face.
It's a carpenter brut thing, the creator of the entire soundtrack, heavily adopted into the movie from him. The movie itself has very little to do with it, carpenter brut might have reasons for it but by and large it's used a calling card throughout this film.

Why did the dancing girl from the video not return to dovetail the video and movie?? What a loss and horrible replacement actress but maybe for the sequel.
THE MUSIC. God its so good. Mind blowing.
Movie was a visual and audistic experience, amazing and superb , lovecraft meets space opera with a lot of synth wave music 10/10 any day.
Seth Ickman needs to direct the Evangelion movie.
Dude he just needs to keep doing shit like this.
Are you crazy, they can't even tell a correct story in 50 minutes, how do you want they can manage behemoth like Evangelion story.

Totally agree
He did better with blood machines then the anime and remake. So many had to google Evangelion ending meaning. CONGRATULATIONS.@@62Tob
Hands down favourite scene!

esta música te traslada directamente al espacio o a alguna dimensión desconocida, un toque y ya estas listo para el viaje!

Man. I need to see this movie! This is frickin' amazing :)
Did you get around to it? It's only in 3 short bits.

Needs the mention, that it is accidentally one of the best Warhammer 40k movies so far, along with Event Horizon

It wasn’t meant to be a full length film. It’s music videos.

Fucking... WHY
it's a carpenter brut thing just roll with it i guess
The Lack of strong likeable characters turned me off to the series but the music, special effects and art direction were on point.
This is just made to be a visual/auditory spectacle.
Yes the scenario is so bad. Directors are digital artists and they really should hire a director and a writer because they suck on it for sure.
@@megyskermike Nope they tried (but fail) to tell a story with a feminist message in it. Pretty bad.

I'm no genius, but I can promise you that much of art has stemed from political/religious criticism.
Christianity is synonymous with patriarchy from a single perspective, except there are many perspectives.
in reality the inverted cross represents unworthiness (unworthy of god's grace), it was originated by peter
