When this song came out in the summer of 1973 I was thirteen years old and I had a stereo with a set of Criterion 333 speakers I bought with money I made from delivering papers. My parents would get so mad at me for blasting this song when it came on the radio. Then when I got my driver's license I installed a Jenson 8-track player and you know the album with this song on it was one of the ones I got from Columbia House for a penny!!! So as usual, you take a song I grew up with that seems impossible to cover without destroying it, and you take it to another level. Your friends are amazing musicians and added much to this performance, but you Adam, made that look effortless. I am no singer, so to me I would think it would take every ounce of energy to scream those high notes. Not only did you do it with tight pants but you did it while sitting down. I am running out of ways to compliment you, so I'll just say you did it again and I hope you take that as the compliment it is meant to be. Thank you for sharing and thank you to your friends as well. I love listening to musicians who are as masterful as them.
It takes balls and talent to be able to cover the magnificent Steven Tyler and Aerosmith. You guys rocked, you rocked, as usual. Thanks for the cover, needed that man. Take care brother

Truly outstanding. Even the percussion was perfect. I simply loathe a drum set anymore. Hate symbols. The vocals the strings, the lead . I’m a very difficult judge. Hardly anyone gets a 9. This is a 9.2. Truly better than the original artist. That rarely happens
