Even the icai study material says that concentrated marketing is about targeting a LARGE part of the sub market. Sub market here means that there is one big huge market of goods and within that there are subdivisions which are obvious in nature that they may be transported by way of railways or airways. The railways sub MARKET is one part which is huge and the other type of sub MARKET a part of the main market is delivery by way of airways which unlike railways has not reached the stage of maturity and is growing. The target market is VERY LARGE AND is increasing at a fast rate as well. The services may be niche(understood here as specialised/different/unique as compared to the rest)but NOT NARROW. So unique/specialised/different/niche services and large market is differentiation strategy.
Yes correct, and in question also clearly specify niche marketing strategy not niche market ,so it is a differentiation strategy bcoz marketing and market both are different terms
@@manirathnamm6690 yes. Good one brother. Sub market/segment here means that the market here is transportation of goods and one segment(natural)is airplanes. It in itself is very huge and increasing further. The marketing strategy is niche which means unique and different from rest in terms of providing customer service and the market this strategy is covering is very large and increasing very fast. So differentiation strategy
Hey here in the question it's written niche market strategy...in differentiation the strategy is aimed at broad mass market..and also in MCQ it's written niche market strategy..so appropriate answer should be focused differentiation..only they said in context of target market that it's large... like the no.of people we going to cater with niche marketing strategy is large and focus on key words...
@@jessemetcalfe4915 No. There's a line in the case study "one of the customer segment is looking for faster delivery" so even though such market is large as stated still it's only a SEGMENT of the whole market which should be interpreted as a narrow market for the purpose of getting an answer. So foucs differentiation is still the best option to go for imo. Let's see what ICAI says
