I’m a gujarati and I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I’ve understood that as Indians we’re not very different, we have the same ingredients just different recepies! It’s intriguing! Besides you’re just like my mom! If my mom had a channel it would be a replica of yours, simple yet best!
My mother used to make these for me - it's one of my favourite. I was too young to learn any cooking from her. Now I know how to make this. And also the Rasam recipes. I had stopped enjoying most of the food items. 🙏Thanks to you now I'm tempted to try out these recipes. You explain everything for beginners too ❤️ Thank you so soooooo much Aunty I wish I was your next door neighbour 😀🌺
Oh wow, my mum used to make this when we were children! I remember drying up and putting away the discs - mum had lots of different styles of them. Side note - I just love hearing the auto's in the background! Can't wait til I can go to India, your video's not only help me become better at cooking but also makes India feel closer. Thank you! x
Gitaji, you have shown a very simple and efficient way of making the chaklis. I am going to try this very soon. I must tell you that I had made idli podi recipe and turned out very well. Also, you are my 'go to' person whenever I don't know what to make. Thank you!
I really want to try this! I am so happy that I have all the proper equipment to do this. Even a sifter that is almost identical to yours! Hope to try this weekend and share with staff next week.
You are such an expert gita.... And u share with us the recipe and tricks so nicely in simple language .. dont make us fear the complex procedures in some recipes...thank you so much..talented lady you are!..
You are a blessing for so many people like me..we want to keep the traditions and teach our kids about our rich culture and these recipes are a big part of it. My kids love trying these recipes with me. Thank you soo much for sharing these recipes with us. Hello Gitakka! I just got done makind a batch of mini murkkus! I should have adjusted the salt while kneading the dough. Othewise, your recipe is amazing! Many thanks, and thanks for keeping my kitchen going as well😊😊
Thanks very much Gita ma'am. I like the parchment paper method, where you skilfully take the muruku out onto a flat label and drop it into the oil. 👍. We use plastic covers (my mother-in-law's method), or banana leaf (my mother's method).
This is my daughter's very favourite ..I keep making it very often and it vanishes in just one day . 🙏🏻 Thanks ma'am will surely try this variation too .ur recipes r as sweet as u ❤️
@@GitasKitchen ...I am good dear. Very busy since sis and family are here from Albany. Made some of your tea time snacks...aha my all time fav. Masal vada.
Fantastic...I tried and it came out excellent after 12years of my marriage. Please come up with jaggery sweets this Diwali.. Sugar seems to be unhealthy
Thank you amma for this wonderful recipe. We buy murukku from stores but how good it would be to do it ourselves. It is also healthier this way. I will try it. We buy it from outside but now I will do it myself. Thanks for the tips that help us prepare it better. If you hadn't told us maybe those who want to prepare more would have done it at one go instead of batches. This most of us would not know. I love the sesame seeds crunchiness while biting. It feels awesome. Amma and appa please enjoy the murukkus with garam garam chai.

@shubha .Use little less oil for your small batches .Usually leftover oil I give it to helpers as they also feel happy n they can use it for making sabji .We also can use it as we shouldn't use heated oil again for frying .Depends on what u feel ❤️❤️
Dear great souls Can you please help to create mass awareness to help for bharathi stem cell treatment before 6th Nov 2021 and also other children facing similar health condition at your earliest convenience Vaazhga valamudan Uma s
