As a true fan, it was the biggest accomplishment of my life and I wanted to celebrate all those years of loving star wars, by getting the best saber I could get. Everytime I have invested into this fandom, with my time, or literal $$, it has ended up bringing so much positive value back into my life. So many of the greatest things that have happened in my life are in thanks to star wars, and believing in the Force is much as possible. Soooooo yea..... I definitely splurged lol. Most probably do not need a $1000 saber. Part of the review was to show that you likely don't need one either.... but if you want one, they are fantastic! Thank you for your support! I'm not even sure which temple guard one it is. For a half of the pikes in TCW the hilst seems to be a bit short. And I think that holds true for the rebels version too. Anyway, if it is the rebels version, then a regular connector wouldn't do anyway. The special one would be soo dope though.
I think the RexNAround podcast is gonna have a custom coupling made. Either way keep an eye out on TH-cam. Give it time someone will find a way to make one. And having the short blades with it and full cosplay is gonna be insane.

10 years ago I was given 1 Hasbro Force FX Asajj Ventress lightsaber for my birthday, my father did not know about them being a pair... at the time they retailed for $99... they're near impossible to find nowadays... but this year the Star Wars Black Series has a NEW Asajj Ventress lightsaber being released for over $200... and Disney has the Legacy for $140!!! I cant wait to compare all 3!!!
The question I have is if you can swap the battery/brain packs in the bottom of the legacy sabers to swap the blade colors, since the color is determined by the circuitry itself. I'd love to have these hilts with any other color blade.

You can get black anodized socket-head Allen bolts without having to paint the ones it came with. Your biggest concern with those is they are not stainless steel or nickel/chrome coated, and can get rusty if gotten wet. They look like a 1/4" diameter, so that would mean either 20 threads per inch, or 28, which are the most common thread types for 1/4" bolts. Great review! I may have to just hit you up for a purchase (or two)!
Ive always loved lightsabers and ever since I found out galaxy's edge had them I thought they were going to be sub par, kinda shoddy things, but since watching yours and ordinary adventures videos I see I am mistaken, these sabers look like great peices! Especially if you are a film maker they would look great! Unfortunately I think my only option for sabers are ultra sabers (not saying they are bad)

For those complaining about the price: The lightsabers are cheaper than the custom made lightsabers/Black Series Lightsabers. The lightsaber prices are $109 (Base price for lightsabers, like Rey’s Obi-Wan’s etc), $130 (Ventress, Temple Guard, and Luke, which include extra elements), $150 (Kylo Ren with cross guards and specialized belt clip) and $200 (Ahsoka, which includes both lightsaber hilts). The blades have two different sizes. The largest size is definitely pretty big, being around 31 in and the smallest being 26 inches. The 31 inch blades are more practical for display purposes while the 26 inch blades are better for being able to wave around. The belt clips are sold separately (not including Kylo’s). They fit both types of lightsaber clips, like the old Jedi order clips or Rey’s lightsaber. The clips are around $17. In total, the price for a lightsaber would be $176 for an average lightsaber (Rey’s Obi-Wan’s etc), $197 for the specialized lightsabers like Ventress, Temple Guard, and Luke’s, $200 for Kylo’s (Not including belt clip since it already comes with one), and $317 for Ahsokas, which includes two lightsaber hilts/two blades. The custom lightsabers at Savi’s are $217, which includes a custom sleeve for the lightsaber so you can transport it around. TL;DR - Legacy lightsabers range from less than $200 with a blade, hilt, and belt clip. Ahsoka’s lightsabers are $317, which also include two hilts in one box. The custom lightsabers are around $217, which includes a transportable sleeve for the lightsaber. Basically, a Legacy lightsaber costs less than a custom one. Edit: OP didn’t push the blades down all the way and turn them. There’s not a whole lot of wobble in the blade when you push it down
At that point just buy the black series Asajj sabers. The Disney hilts themselves might be cheaper together but with the cost of everything else it would probably be more expensive. Not to mention you don’t have to waste your money going to Disney to buy them, and the sound for the black series sabers is pulled directly from the clone wars.
Since I live in belgium, I looked up when the park would come to Disneyland Paris. 2025 is their goal. So another 6 years to expierence it. I do hope more OT and PT will be in it for us.

I got asajj ventresses lightsaber and I've started to notice that the curve part, which is attached to the activation switch by the metal outline is starting to detach.

they did make his from the Force FX black series i believe. His saber is extra tricky tho. In reality his hilt is pretty slim, and putting all the electronics in and keeping the scale accurate is tricky. Would you buy a Dooku?

Knilaros I have the Ventress and the Ahsoka Tano and the battery packs and actually metal connectors are different so they are not cross compatible.

Recent fan from Australia, coming to LA at the end of July and contemplating going to disney for a day for Galaxy's edge. I know some lightsabers are out of stock but how is the availability for jedi tunics and belts??
Tunics are plenty in stock the belts will depend on sizing

They look too thick for the look in the animated versions... but I get it cuz of all the electronics and metal etc

they did make his from the Force FX black series i believe. His saber is extra tricky tho. In reality his hilt is pretty slim, and putting all the electronics in and keeping the scale accurate is tricky. Would you buy a Dooku?
