    #30 is an intriguing combination of Sound Bites strung together. I was jarred out of my trance-like state when you began playing STREGA Vocalizations slowed down via Bit-Box Module...
    I literally JUMPED out of my skin when I heard those Otherworldly voices ! Shíza those are frightful when you're not expecting them~ Another successful creative Soundscape~✨🎵💡👌🔥🌌🐾

      Wow, thanks for your comment! Indeed, Strega is a real witch.

    That's a lot of capability in a few square inches of rack space.

    Nice overview. Does the micro also do the seamless looping?

    Another fine example of Lateral thinking, of great interest to me as I have1010 Blackbox, would I be able to utilise in a Similar context as the Eurorack version???? I’ve hardly delved into Blackbox so should try
    Thanks again Robert one to go

      Hi Martin. Yes, BlackBox can also be clocked from the outside and I think both modules have a lot in common. So this will definitely work!

    Great jam! Love my BitBox (and BlackBox). Can’t wait to get the new firmware.

    could zoia euroburo be an alternative to bitbox with its sd card? Of course very different and not the same thing or parameters, and meant for different things. but could euroburo be a more modulatable granular sampler?

    • @CinematicLaboratory
      @CinematicLaboratory  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am sorry. These two are so different that I don't think they're alternatives to each other. But if you check the zoia presets it becomes clear that its primary role is effects, while bitbox' primary role is sampling. The granular effect in zoia is absolutely stunning.

      @@CinematicLaboratory thanks for your detailed response. I appreciate your knowledge and experience, as I certainly do not have the hands on experience with these modules.

    Awesome. Is there an update for the Micro as well? You've had the Micro as well, right? Struggling to decide between them, frankly. If you had to keep just one mk2 or micro, which one would it be for you? cheers

    • @CinematicLaboratory
      @CinematicLaboratory  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't checked if there's an update for the micro too. The updated UI is clearly designed for four knobs. To be honest, I love the micro and it can do a lot (it has more outputs compared to the MK2), but if I had to pick one, it would be the MK2 because of the big screen, the four knobs and the 16 gate inputs.

      @@CinematicLaboratory thanks :-) Btw - have you run into any issues with latency on faster trigs/drum hits with either of them?

    • @CinematicLaboratory
      @CinematicLaboratory  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@piotr803 No, I did not. Short samples (e.g. drums) are loaded into internal memory. You could have latency issues if you splice a long loop into little drum snippets but I always urge people to keep the original SD card as a backup and get the fastest read/write speed SD you can find. When large files are used, BitBox streams from the card and if you'd use 16 long 48 bit/32K samples you may get some stalls. But you really need to push it hard! Also, the MK2 offers twice the processor power compared to the MK1.

    would be nice if bitbox came out with a "looper" firmware - streamline the process a bit.

      @CinematicLaboratory  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well, looping is one of BitBox' strongest points so I am not sure what you'd be missing except for a footswitch.
