That’s X for xbox, but Y for Switch. It would be extremely confusing if you’re playing a game on xbox with reload on X, and then when the game is ported to Switch reload is still on X. You’d want to have reload on Y instead, because that is the same location (left action button).
Grabbed this for 15$ absolutely loved black flag on ps4 when it launched and now to have the game portable for such a low price and tons of content it's a no Brainer! This is single handedly the best port of a game on the Nintendo switch. Pick it up people you won't be sorry!

Ive been playing the Switch version and decided to play the ps4 version again too. Both are hooked up to my TV, and ill switch back and forth just out of curiosity to compare them. And the Switch version just has this charm about it. It plays better for one. The parkour is better. Ive seen no glitches on the Switch version (ps4 version still has npcs clipping through walls and ships, etc) . Foliage is turned down alot on Switch, but has a much sharper image. The map is much better on Switch with added icons. Man, I can go on forever. It still amazes me tbh
that's great to hear, I did a Lil comparison on the ps5 and switch (so ps4 that runs it better.) I found that it to me looks a lot better but tbh its ac4 in your hand so whats not to love?

I mean for me I liked the PC version more due reshade and 4K texture pack. when adding RTGI shader made the game look beautiful but for the switch I would agree it seems good since its a portable device. Definitely would recommend upon looking at the gameplay footage since it doesn't seem blurry.
dam that is sick that they got all those outfits thats actually fucking amazing makes me jealous im on pc and have to mod them and the only one you can mod is haythams all these sick outfits just are not here which really sucks also aveline dlc is on pc
When I get my switch next year im trading up for this version for this reason all the dlc being available plus more is the biggest reason for me since they closed the uplay stuff down its forever locked on everything else and im not a big graphics nut so a little graphical down grade is no big deal for me i am how ever a completionist nut so all that stuff forever locked bugs the heck out of me and the switch having it is a major win for me

I just got the game for Switch (played it before a couple of times on PS4 some years ago). One thing is to recognice this is a great version of the game and that the portability suits it nicely, but saying "it's the best version" sounds exaggerated to me. Specially with some of the downgrades it has compared to any other version, like the viewpoint music, which is completely absent on Switch.
So the main reason it could be considered better is it’s portable and it comes bundled with ac rouge, plus the dlc. Only ac rouge isn’t that good of a game and the ps4 version of black flag with all of the dlc included is still only $25, compared to the bundled $40 rebel collection on switch. It also looks a lot better on PlayStation, so really try e biggest thing is just it’s portable. Honestly, for me, I ended up buying switch version, because I prioritize portable, but I’ll probably end up getting the ps4 version as well later on because the game is so gosh darn good.
I mean on sale, like 25 bucks for a better black flag is worth, us you get rouge which I don't consider a awful game from what I've seen and I'm excited to play it
Im sorry but $40 Black Flag Rogue Freedom Cry plus well over a handfull of add ons and extra dlc All on the go with no performance issues i say is wayyy better than getting just black flag on a ps4 🤷♂️
Yes you are right it did come with AC3 but for switch players if you buy the rebel collection it comes with a small sequence ac3 soldiers ac3 frontier but with black flag graphics and weapon types so they both have it as DLC

I have seen the fps drop to 20 but it happens during cut scenes loading so no big deal
The frame rate drops between 15 and 21 in combat in the seas you can obviously tell by the mortars. Aside from that this game is amazing

I HIGHLY recommend the Pro Controller. It makes all FPS (or any game that needs precision from the sticks) wayyyy better.

the best way to play this is definitely on PC at 4k60 this is good for on the go but even then it would play better on the steam deck or even a laptop
