You have a rare ability to make well-known songs your own, and your voice is a powerful instrument in itself. However, while "Sounds of Silence" has a much more melodic 60s pop vibe, "Killing Me Softly" is a soul ballad and may not be very catchy for pop-oriented ears, even though it’s a strong song. I believe that songs like "Don’t Forget to Remember Me" or "Words" by the Bee Gees would suit you much better. "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" by CCR and "Seven Spanish Angels" are sure winners. You need to choose songs that are right for you and that have broad audience appeal, which "Killing Me Softly," in my view, does not. I’m a big fan of yours and have great faith in you, but song selection is the key to success. You have a great voice that you use in a rather unique way, but genre is important. And those who disagree with my comment can say what they want, I wish you all the best, of course.🙂

I am not a singer and I definitely don't have 1% of her talent but I like to listen to old songs, afterall I am from the 90's. Nevertheless, I mentioned in the teaser that this song is gonna be hard to top unless you hit the right pitch, you eventually somehow hit some part right but my opinion, your voice is meant for some other genre. Don't take me as being biased but I just hope you take this advice positively. Really want to see our Naga brothers and sisters succeed in Music. We have the potential for it.
