Not common place for us that cannot visit South Africa. Thank you so much for showing us your landscaping, snakes, frogs and geckos 😊amazing!! That reed snake looks like one of the garter snakes in the states, it’s rear fang, venomous also, and everyone says they musk when handling but so far I’ve been very lucky 😬I was wondering if you were watching out for those puff adder’s 😮very appreciative of your videos, taking me where I haven’t travelled ❤
Nice mountain. The adder was kind of unexpected. Very nice leopard toad with a beautiful patterns. European toads also have the same problem with road traffic every breeding season. Probably it is a universal toad problem, because those amphibians migrate long distances. Why are those pines planted there? They look somewhat invasive and they’re probably a fire hazard. They are even here in Greece, where they are native. Isn’t there any native African substitute?
Just found this video and then checked out your channel, great stuff! Fantastic videos and photographs and very knowledgeable narration, have subbed, always great to find another herping channel on youtube :)
Next you should do this in morocco, its in north africa and it has such a high amount of herpetofauna similar to south africa, both also have similar climate, amazing video tho!
GREAT TOAD!!! NICE TRIP!!!
The western cape leopard toad is so beautiful.❤❤
They sure are!
That Western Leopard toad is magnificent. Some amazing finds and photos Tyrone.

The pines are plated for forestry, used for paper and timber.
