I have NEVER seen south Africa shown like this...and I watch A LOT of the travel channel 😂 I've always Wanted to visit the continent of Africa, now, thanks to you guys, I can add these 2 mountains to my bucket list.
@Terry MD please watch the The Real South Africa 🇿🇦 which is and African American couple living in SA and Ashameanslife 🇿🇦 she is a retired Los Angeles Cop living her best life in South Africa on $2 500 an month
Next time you are down, try going up skeleton gorge, it’s steeper, but much shorter and mostly in the shade. More of a direct route to the top where you find a little dam that’s has beach sand at its entrance.
This is the first video I saw of you and I have to say that your personality, how happy you seem to be in that country and loving the culture and how you interacted with everyone has made me a FAN
I love you guys, so much fun and so relatable. Glad to see you enjoying the fair Cape, but I get the feeling you would have fun no matter where you are. Greetings from Johannesburg.
Yeah, there are beaches with warmer water East of Cape Town, such as Gordons Bay, Strand, Koolbay, etc., etc., but I also enjoy swimming in the cold sea on a hot summers day. Its very refreshing and a great way to cool off. Julle figured out the technique of entering - go in and out a few times so your legs get used to it and stop aching, and then its all plain sailing!
So proud of you guys ❤ so sweet to see how friendly and caring you are along the way - congrats to both mountain challenges and accomplishment 🏆💪 cheering for you all the way 🥳 thanks for another great film-vid!! You guys are killing it!!
WOWZERS!!!!!! Great video!!!! 473 thumbs up if I could!!!!!!! Nathan's talent with accents is fun to hear and Olivia's face when she said "make sure you bite down on it" made me laugh out loud!!!
Fairplay Nathan. That back pack is definitely the game changer mate. I feel your pain. My family and I trekked both the Plataclip route and also Lions Head back in 2019. Hope you guys enjoyed a cheeky beer when you got to the top!
This is incredible. Thank you for the vids guys! Unfortunately my fear of heights would never let me - I'd probably get stuck at the top of Lions Head. 😂😂
A little boost from the caboose, you know what I'm saying 😂 Wish I could have met up with the two of you while you were here. Would have had you over for dinner, and shown you a few more great spots! Love your videos and good vibes!
First of all, how sweet are you for asking people if they are ok. Secondly, my family and I are traveling there this August. I’m convinced that we will NOT be hiking either! 😂😂😂
I was in Cape Town in November 2023. We went on Table Mountain, twice. I've been to Camps Bay and swam in the ocean there like you guys. I did not go on Lion's Head. I think I'll have to return there to visit what I missed. BTW, the guy looks like our leader of the opposition here in Canada. Google it. His name is Pierre Poilievre. I believe he will be the future Prime Minister of Canada soon. Cheers!
Xhosa is not the only South African language that has clicks. They are other 3 languages that have clicks and are sister languages to Xhosa, they are Zulu, Ndebele and swati they are all nguni languages.
why do people play music in nature? If you want to listen to music why not use headphones? It boggles my mind. Have some respect for other people who don't want to listen to music!

Add Namibia to your list. One of the most beautiful places on earth. I went last year and made a video: th-cam.com/video/pAOyKVD8Vo8/w-d-xo.html

Her face when she says “Just bite the tip” 😂
I thought I was the only one to catch that. Her eyes,,,
THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!
Best Line: “Gravity Assisted Freshness”

Wow, this mountain is killer, you both are pretty fit, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you looking so exhausted…..
But, you killed it!

I love you guys, so much fun and so relatable. Glad to see you enjoying the fair Cape, but I get the feeling you would have fun no matter where you are. Greetings from Johannesburg.
Lol you must start your hike already at 7am in summer. Always wear a hat as well.
Solid tip 👌🏽
We went to table mountain last November it’s beautiful up there. We skip the hiking part though.
Love your videos, another fun-filled spectacular location. Keep it up!
Even i wanna go to Cape Town, it look so nice, and I live there

WOWZERS!!!!!! Great video!!!! 473 thumbs up if I could!!!!!!! Nathan's talent with accents is fun to hear and Olivia's face when she said "make sure you bite down on it" made me laugh out loud!!!
Great video!!
Most beautiful city in the world :) Glad you guys had a good time :)
Awesome hiking . Whts the restaurant there a chance to see traditional dancers too
Warmer waters near Durban with Indian Ocean. Cape Town water is very cold with Atlantic Ocean 😅
Strand is warm
The unique part about Cape Town is that we also have the Indian ocean.
Awesome vid, thx
Nice video ❤from India 🇮🇳
What a fabulous view!
beautiful
"Hopefully its not to cold" lol
WOW! That is crazy scary.
Fairplay Nathan. That back pack is definitely the game changer mate. I feel your pain. My family and I trekked both the Plataclip route and also Lions Head back in 2019. Hope you guys enjoyed a cheeky beer when you got to the top!
Please, can you tell me again which back pack were you referring to?

Haha cheers!
Aw man you guys are so so friendly and kind❤ please visit joburg next time!
We’d love to! Thanks!
Absolutely awesome!! Embrace the suck cuz it’s so worth it obviously! Great video once again guys.😎
This is incredible. Thank you for the vids guys! Unfortunately my fear of heights would never let me - I'd probably get stuck at the top of Lions Head. 😂😂
You can do it, go with a couple friends and you will be fine! 🤘🏽
Next time try Devil's Gorge🙂
A little boost from the caboose, you know what I'm saying 😂 Wish I could have met up with the two of you while you were here. Would have had you over for dinner, and shown you a few more great spots! Love your videos and good vibes!
Dudes! Aren't you on vaca? There's no excursion on vaca, unless its Olivia and Nathan! Thanks guys! We wouldn't be there w/o you!
Helluva cool video ON! How did you get your selfy-stick to disappear on film??
With any 360 camera if you mount it correctly the stick doesn't appear.
Which month did you go? Weather seemed perfect!
First of all, how sweet are you for asking people if they are ok. Secondly, my family and I are traveling there this August. I’m convinced that we will NOT be hiking either! 😂😂😂
Y'all are super fit It took me 2hours just to get on top 😢
Gravity Assisted Freshness (GAF) is an amazing technique. Is this the hottest season over there?
If you go up Lions Head ,be sure to come down before dark....!
Olivia, what sunscreen do you use on your face? Seems like your face never got burnt.
Hello, I will be in Cape Town with my daughter soon. Did you have to pay an entrance fee to get to Lions Head?
💕 love

STAY COOL 😎 FRIENDS ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nathan basically sounds South African most of the time.
Yea buddyy 😂
Did you go to Durban?
Not on this trip, next time we’ll have to check it out!
hey guys, do i need a guide to go up table mountain? or is it something i can do on my own
You don’t need a guide but we’d recommend going with at least one other person. At the least, go during daylight hours.
Just the tip!
Nathan bro... all black? you are brave!
Xhosa is not the only South African language that has clicks. They are other 3 languages that have clicks and are sister languages to Xhosa, they are Zulu, Ndebele and swati they are all nguni languages.
What kind of camera is Olivia using? It looks to be hovering in front of her.
It’s a 360 degree camera.
Lots of people run up and down in an hour with nothing but their running shoes and shorts… then you know you are real fit
I'm not gonna lie on the 2 January 2024 I was on top on lions head and I'm only 13 yrs old
its uphill all the time...huh?...its a mountain..LOL
is our sun really that bad?
Ja the sun, due to the tilt of the earths axis shines more acutely, over a smaller surface area in the Southern Hemisphere.
Holy crap I love to hike but that’s a little to much for my 60 year old body.
Great footage however your drone footage is illegal. You can get a fine up to R48 000 and or 6 months in jail for violating drone laws.
I think its an insta 360, not a drone
Now ride it on a bike lol
