This would be Al's last appearance on Bing's radio show, and the complete show is a great one. My two favorite singers and personalities during my early childhood were Al Jolson and Bing Crosby. This is a special treat to hear both of them again.

Well, to put it a bit nicer, he died on 23 Oct 1950, at the age of just 64; following a tour as first to entertain troops in the Korean War.
