Aggression Continuum features guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder Dino Cazares; drummer Mike Heller; and former vocalist, lyricist and co-founder Burton C. Bell.
The album was produced and engineered by Damien Rainaud (DRAGONFORCE, ONCE HUMAN), with keyboards by Igor Khoroshev (ex-YES), and programming on two songs from longtime collaborator Rhys Fulber (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY).
Aggression Continuum was mixed by A-list rock and metal producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TRIVIUM), who also mixed the album’s critically-acclaimed predecessor, Genexus.
The artwork for the album was created by Francesco Artusato.

This album is epic and has such a brutal intense sound. Great job in producing this. Have been listening to you since 1998. Have to say your music video reminded me of Terminator meets the show Colony with a little bit of the Matrix. Very awesome!!!!
Been a fan since the first album. 51 years old and still love FF. Heartbreaking to see Burton’s exit, but at least he went out like a lion.

Dude, I'm right there with you. I can appreciate your comment. I was at my very first show (Papa Roach) in Virginia when I first heard FF playing on the speakers in between sets and I fucking lost it!!! I was like "OMG WTF IS THIS"??? I didn't care about Papa anymore, all I wanted to do was leave and find a Fear Factory CD ASAP! Anyway, yeah yet another farewell!
My first time hearing ff was on a mixed cd I found on the side of the road called Jessica's mix and it had I think 3 songs on it shock decent and maybe resurrection
...my first listening was Soul of a new Machine, a friend had a tape and recorded it and I loved it. Then came Demanufacture and bought it inmediately...was dissapointed at the sound...Then like after a month started listening again, and it grew on me, been a fan since early 90's !

I just got finished listening to it about 15 minutes ago and I'm still shocked at how great it is. Just sucks that I won't be able to see it being played live with Burton singing. I wish Dino and him would make amends somehow but I highly doubt it. Pretty late for that. They should be damn proud of themselves for producing such a kickass album.

On the behalf of myself and from all of us we all thank you. But as this is the last Album with Burton C. Bell, regardless of the issues I also would like to thank him terribly for his last swansongs with Fear Factory and the legacy he has left behind. I love these guys! I met Burton back in 2007, and he was as sweet as can be, spent a good forty minutes outside with me, took a photo with me, and even signed it. Love that dude!

This entire record is fantastic. The title track is the best title track since Demanufacture. Dino and the remaining members of Fear Factory should be very proud of themselves 🤘
There isn't (a remaining) one other than Dino! Burton C Bell finally threw his hands up just after tracking finished for this album, about the point the Lawsuit between Him and Dino vs Christain and Raymond finished, claiming he was finally over the lies and manipulation in his public statement..
Fear Factory is now (like Devine Heresy) just the Dino Show !
While a weaker song on the record, the guitar solo with the ride cymbal accents in Monolith is 🔥. Wish Dino had incorporated solo work more often.
Totally man. I just got done listening to it and was floored by how good it really is it makes me wish Burton and Dino would make amends somehow but I don't see that happening. I miss seeing them live. It's just sad that they hate each other now and they made this great album together that deserves a tour.

@@Salomon_G I don't know how the beef got started between those guys. It sucks that the original lineup got all broke up to begin with. Dino is definitely the base of Fear Factory though. Without him there would be no Fear Factory. His guitar playing is what their sound is based around. But I have to say that without Burton it's going to be so hard to replace his songwriting genius. His concepts for the albums were really cool. Maybe he can't sing live consistently anymore like he used to. The guys been doing it for so long it's hard to really blame him. All I can say is at least he went out with making a really badass record. I grew up listening to these guys and I'm just glad I finally got to hear this album. Didn't disappoint at all. I still think Burton is the man no matter what happened and he sounds awesome on this album. I know it's studio but still. I met him once and he was cool as hell. I met Dino also and he is really cool as well. That was back on their Obsolete tour when they were getting pretty big. I wouldn't hate on Burton so much though. Sometimes things get complicated after being in a band as long as they have. If this is the Fear Factory Swan Song so be it. I honestly wish there was a tour for it regardless of how Burton sounds live these days.
Listened to the album a few times and Burton C Bell has definitely ended on a high note.
Here's to hoping they can reconcile in the future and put out more bangers like this.

@@CerberusLives nah, I think there's some cool screams on this. His voice is showing serious strain, obviously, but for the heavy vocals that can add to them in a way. His cleans are so processed on everything post Mechanize onwards anyway so I don't think his overall performance here is much different at all really

Around 2000, i bought Quake 3 Arena for Dreamcast and Fear Factory's 'Obsolete - Special Edition'. Had no idea what FF sounded like but seen their name in the liner notes of other bands. It was waaay heavier than what I was listening to during this era. Slowly I began appreciating the brutal sound and awesome atmosphere. The extra tracks were _heavy AF!_ Anyways, today I was playing classic DOOM on PS5 and finally gave Aggression Continuum a listen... Just like old times, grinning ear to ear. \m/
They definitely raised the bar. Best album yet.

"Soul of a New Machine" and "Demanufacture" will always be imbedded in my Soul and Mind as the best ever but they've had some real gems since and this track is definitely one! Can't wait to hear the whole album!

Great Fear Factory Album and one of their best. Better than Genexus which was also really good. I'll miss Burt but he throws in one hell of a performance to go out on, great note to go out on. Dino has really stepped up the rifling too.

My preaches from Brazil that, whatever happened, Burton can back to the band, I listen heavy metal since I was 10 (I'm 36) and Bell's voice are unique, IMHO, as Freddie Mercury's voice - not better, just unique - and I don't know another singer with that clean and fanny deep voice.

It has been a long time since a Fear Factory album and the music videos have given me goosebumps listening to it.
I have loved this band for an eternity it seems like. All the ups and downs, albums and live, fear factory will always be one of my faves! And Burton my fave vocalist of all time! Wish you well brother and the rest of FF wherever you go I'll keep an ear out!
There's that sound that kept my angry through out the 90's and 2000's. FF are back badder than ever!!!
Started listening to you guys when SOANM came out and through all the line up changes, you never disappoint. Sad to see Burton leave since his vocals are what got me hooked. Met Dino in 05 in Tucson, AZ and he was a super cool dude. Keep the metal alive
Honestly this the first Fear Factory i've heard since the Obsolete record.
It's like hearing them again for the first time.
I remember the hard work Fear Factory put in touring with Demanufacture, brutal live shows. Man, I'd love to see them delivering this track live!! F**kin awesome! 🔥 🔥 🔥
I saw them x3 on the Demanufacture tour. I had the same sentiment listening to this album. I kept thinking "Wow, this would sound absolutely incredible live", and then realizing that BCB will never be a part of it beyond this album appearance. Still the best live band I have seen.
.. It didn't seem to matter small or large shows, they kicked ass either way!! After one of their smaller shows they even mingled with the audience & I managed to get Christian and Burtons autographs, awesome teenage memory! I know, it's gutting to know there is no more BCB beyond this! 😢
I almost cried hearing this Fear Factory sound again. I discovered FF pretty late in im 20s, and it took some time to get adjusted to this grim and brutal blend of industrial metal. But I love to hear this new song and to trace the sound pattern all the way to Demanufacture. My soul dances to this.

Yeah how are they ever going to replace his autotuned vocals? Burton’s a decent vocalist but he’s not this god that everyone portrays him to be. Literally anyone with a rough voice and halfway decent cleans can replace him.
The fans wanted FF back. Thanks to Dino,we have the 10th album,and FF back. Burton's voice is damaged,the studio made him sound good. He can't sing live,either. I'm excited to hear the new vocalist!!!
@@RedCoat1016 He is a metal legend. That being said, you're unfortunately right on the fact he hasn't been able to perform his clean vocals live for years.
I hope Dino will make the right choice for the new vocalist so we can enjoy FF for many years.
The dude (or the girl) will have big shoes to fill even though Burton's voice was not that great anymore (his "live" voice, since he does sound good in the studio).
@@RedCoat1016 No amount of autotune can define a vocal style, no one in the world is gonna sound exactly like Burton no matter the autotune. And btw, no professional vocals on this planet is processed without the use of autotune.
Let's be honest no Burt no FF, Dino as frikkin amazing but Burt's vocals are too big a part of FF, at last FF are going out with a great album. Thanks for 30 years guys
