I prefer the polished metal look over the painted. But that thing is beautiful, those Hoosier tires complement any style of bike. I've often wondered why bikes don't have more grease zerts at the pivot points? Wiping off excess grease or pushed out dirty grease is much easier than breaking down machine to pull off dust seal & repacking pivot points.

When I take off stuff like that to rebuild it I usally drill a hole and put my own grease zerks in if they fit

I wouldn't want to race that bike not because of it's so damn powerful!! ..... But because it's so ungodly beautiful. Be afraid of getting it dirty. That bike deserves to have a shrine of its own. Much respect to Kaplan cycles they knocked this one out of the ballpark completely! 👍💪

@@Lightning7474. I had and raced a brand new cr 500 in 86, also ran a 73 400 Maico on the vintage tracks here in the south east, I appreciate the warning as my 86 was the only bike I ever broke a bone on! I’m really considering buying this, I’ll pass to my son when it’s time🤔

That is baddest CR 500 I’ve ever seen but the CR 500 y’all made road legal is the best sounding CR 500 I’ve ever heard, right along with the
RM Zilla . Those two are the best sounding 500’s in the world as far as I’m concerned and when they sound that good that means they are gonna be a hand full to hold onto when you are stretching the throttle cable and your eyes get blurry from running 95+ mph🦏💨

It would be really cool if you could take the time to do a video of the behind the scenes of a graphic kit. I would love to see the start to finish of how Christie comes up with the ideas and then lays them out on the computer,manufactures them, and installs them on the machine. I don't think people really realize how much work goes into designing and laying out a graphic kit.. Not to mention having them installed perfectly. I think it would be a good little video very interesting..

Really nice black I never seen one with a chrome exhaust pipe on it before somebody did a really amazing job and spend a lot of long hard hours working on it I just wondering what the total horsepower is on it the box almost what you call it is and showroom condition great job on you video have a good day

Hahaha, those 500R's always waggle their rear fenders at idle with pulses of vibration. Every big bore monster I have ridden, owned or seen has always wagged its tail. What a Monster!!!!

Ken that is the absoulte sexiest bike I have EVER laid eyes on. It just has flow with those graphics kits from Steiger. Shes got a gift for design for sure. Perfect for this CR500. A LITTLE MODERN, ALL CLASSIC WORLD CLASS VINTAGE RESTOMOD.

Is that a steering stabilizer mount that has been added to the frame??if so that is pretty badass i dont think scotts or gpr makes a bolt on stabilizer for these steelys, so that is a pretty cool option upgrade

Both add 1 to 1.5 on the dyno.

did you know - during the riding parts - if you change the playpack speed to .25 - you get double the 2 stoke ping.......
Kenny s'r, kenny junior and the team are definetl'y the number 1 restoration team in america by a long way, your team have made me want to get bk into racing, i haven't raced since my dad was killed on his motorbike one night by young kids on drugs in a car and hit him head on, he was my mechanic and my mum did marshalling and i raced from aged 6 till i was 20, when my dad died my family said no more bikes and made me sell everything, that about killed me aswell.
Now though me and me mum and sister plus all the other family when im with them i allways show them your videos and your the only bike videos my family will watch after 20 years and they have really took a liking to you, my mum even said senior is cool and likes his spirit and the way he does it all with his family, my family have just said that there ok about me having a crosser again 😂, its 99% down to you boys and girls you are truel'y very special family and team and i lv you to bits for the videos and getting my arse bk on a bike, carnt wait to get a kx again, 1997 kx 125 was my race bike so im going to get another one, same year and do it up in memory of my dad, god bless his sole and god bless you all, keep it twisted hard bk allways !!!!!

Just watched the 125 video, when you go from watching SR on the 125 and then to this 500. Its kinda nuts to hear how little he touches the throttle to get the tire up compared the the screaming 125. Friggin nuts how much torque those 500's have.
