Honestly, it sounds like a really exciting and fun expirience! In my country the living at collage/university is just a shared dorm with 2 or 3 other people somewhere in the city, not even close to the study buildings at all. It's like renting a small one-bedroom, no kitchen aparment with some random people Seeing how it is in other countries is very interesting and actually makes me want to take a loan and go study abroad lmao
hi! I'm a study abroad student currently applying for your college coincidentally! I'm very excited at the opportunity to experience college but am having a tough time imaging what it would be like, especially coming in as an international student for only one semester. Any chance you can give some more insight, for example about the first week and making friends and joining clubs/teams etc? Would really appreciate any advice too!
This was so helpful thank you!! Quick question, I'm a student from New Zealand which means I cant afford a loan for accomodation, so my only real options are the lofts and apartment building with the Uni. Do you know any people who lived in them, and was the social aspect still good?
yes I know people who lived there! there’s no events or sport teams etc but there’s still communal spaces and they sometimes have activities where u can meet people. and you will meet heaps of people thru uni clubs, events, sport teams etc etc!!!
Hi- I am a student looking to study abroad in Melbourne. What would your thoughts be about the process of coming to Melbourne- I would be 20 when I come over, would I be older than most of those living in college, or are those in college of all ages?
if both are a possibility (eg you can afford college) my view on it is you only get one opportunity to do college! and once you’ve done college it’s soo exciting to move out with a friend
I know I'm a year late but I am very thankful for this video!!!!
