Erin, you often mention "go-to" layouts, but they always seem fresh and new to me. I enjoy how you take a linear design and change it up with papers, tags, and embellishments. My sister is a linear scrapbooker and I have introduced her to your videos. You have another fan. 😊
I appreciate you saying each layout seems fresh. That is good to hear because sometimes I wonder if my layouts start to look the same. Thank you for sharing my channel with your sister, that means a lot.
Terrific layout! The colors are so crisp and bright and makes photos pop. Love your stamping and embellishments and adding the companion page. Looks like a fun time. ❣️
Very nice layout, thank you for sharing. I also wanted to say thank you for the lovely card after my order last month, what a very nice surprise. I had wanted to order some more of the paper I liked and just found it was sold out…oh well, I will continue to watch your videos and as soon as I need more supplies you will be my contact. Thank you again.
Loving your travel layouts with this collection. I’ll be using the same collection soon for an album about an Ireland & UK trip. I’m getting so many ideas from you. Thanks!!
Thank you! We arrived the evening before and the place was a madhouse so we didn’t even bother. We got a good nights rest in order to return in the morning at 6 AM. There was hardly anyone there and it was perfect. We took pictures then walked over to a little café for chocolate croissants and espresso. That will be another layout 😉
Thanks for showing how to turn this into a double page layout. I'm trying to learn how to take single page designs and turn them into doubles as that's what I mostly make.
As usual, another fantastic layout. I would love to see the Tower of Pisa…such fun photos. TFS Erin. Love the alpha stamp set & the travel icons… The stamp set w/the connecting icons that use used…how long is this stamp? Maybe 6” or so? Going to place an order & also need a stamp block.
Hi Debbie! I see you placed your order already, sorry I didn’t get to answer your question before hand. I’m assuming your found the answer for the block size. Thank you for the order!
Thanks Erin I love this lay out I’m planning on going on a trip similar to yours this summer and this travel paper kit will be right up my ally. Can’t wait to go.
What a fun and beautiful double page layout. I have always been a double page scrapbooker and I am wondering what you do on the opposite side of a single page layout. Do you try to color coordinate it or do a similar layout? I need some ideas to try. Thanks Erin.
Hello Nori, I’m glad you like the page! In the beginning I was strictly a double page scrapbooker but I found I was leaving out important photos where maybe there was only one or two to tell the story. I organize my layouts in chronological order to the best of my ability in my albums. I have one per calendar year. I will switch the single page layouts around to make them fit. They don’t always look cohesive but when the opportunity is there I will put two similarly colored layouts next to each other.
I am so glad you are finding inspiration in the layouts. Filming makes the process a lot slower but I'd say maybe around two hours from selecting the photos until done. Single page layouts are typically faster but every once in awhile I have to walk away from a layout and come back to it the next day.
Erin, I was wondering if you noticed that you only had one tower of pisa showing on your background paper & where it actually is? I picked it up just after you cut your piece out & laid it down & watched you put the sticker down over the spot & thought, "I hope she doesn't cover her tower". It ended up so appropriate where it is situated, but I thought it sad that it didn't show on the second page as it would have tied in the theme but then that is the way I think!! Maybe you could😀 just highlight your little tower with a grey marker to make it stand out a little more.
I’m glad you thought it looked good there because it was intentional. I didn’t end up with one on the other side because I was using the other half of the paper and therefore limited with my options. The stamp came in handy to add it to the second page though! I do like your suggestion of highlighting it with a gray marker.
Is there a way to purchase Close to My Heart products occasionally without becoming a Maker or distributor? Do I need to buy from a Maker or can I purchase products directly?
Hello Charlotte, you absolutely do not have to become a Maker. I did because I wanted everything so it made sense for me. You do have to order through a Maker and I am happy to be that person for you. Many of my customers are all over the US. There is a VIP program where you can earn 15% in Close To My Heart cash on what you order to use on future purchases. Some like to let it build up for a big item or you can redeem your CTMH cash on the very next order. You do not have to be a VIP but I want to let you know because it is a great program. If you do not already know a Maker here is a link to my online shop, please let me know if you have any questions. erinjacobson.closetomyheart.com Here is information about the VIP program erinjacobson.closetomyheart.com/ctmh/vip.aspx

Your pages have given me so much inspiration! On average, about how long does it take you to do a layout?
I am so glad you are finding inspiration in the layouts. Filming makes the process a lot slower but I'd say maybe around two hours from selecting the photos until done.
