Not all of them are rioters. Some are peaceful protestors, and if you actually chose to do a little outside research away from a channel like Fox News who has an obvious bias against any sort of positive change in this world, you will find out very quickly how much Fox News is manipulating their viewers into believing these protestors are mostly rioters. Weird how they've chosen to show none of the video of these federal agents breaking a veteran's hand, dragging a man over who wasn't doing any harm and then beating him with sticks. Maybe it's because they're trying really hard to continue to force a narrative that now many people are realizing is what has been truly hurting our country to begin with. I can almost guarantee that there's a legitimate reason as to why these people have been out here for so long, and it's not because they want to cause more pain that has already been done onto them for decades.

I was in Seattle (former CHOP area) last Saturday and it was full of 100s, I mean it, 100s of military geared "protestors" with explosives, 2x4s, and whatever else you could think of. They were asking people walking away "WHAT LIVES MATTER?!" and if they didn't respond... "YOU'RE A F***KING RASCIST!". Even families out for the weekend were ostracized. I heard them screaming at white families they should've aborted their children. REALLY? You think all that damage was done by 5% or even 20% of the crowd? If so, why didn't the LARGER MAJORITY DO ANYTHING TO STOP THE VIOLENCE? Trust me, which you won't, this group are not out for peace or to spread a message other than "We are coming for you", "You either go our way or face the consequences". I was a registered Republican in Democrat strong hold for 30 years. I was never once contacted for a poll. Funny thing is that I switched my party affiliation to Democrat purely for business reasons after some building permits were denied. I did this about 8-9 years ago, and now I am contacted at least monthly by pollsters. The live pollsters are often shocked at my answers, coming from my unchanged, even deepening conservative convictions. It's clear they are expecting different answers. My point is don't believe polls. On a side note, I have not had any problems with permits since.
