My first job was babysitting. I was 14. I had a key to my church member house. I rode the bus to their house after school and waited for the little kids. But these kids are different. Times are different
I was 13. I would never trust a 13 year old to babysit!
I think it is because teens are paying more attention to their phones than the kids. But àt my age (53) we are guilty because we would get on the house phone while babysitting. But kids now are non- chalant. We wanted to earn money now they just want the money and not do the work. So no I wouldn't want these new teens babysitting any of my kids if I had some lil ones😮
They only do this in America, allowing a teenager not related to look after a child is crazy.
I was a latchkey kid as well back in the day
