Lorraine - you were fabulous on HIGNFY. You knocked it out of the park. (I'm a regular viewer, formerly from London and now from CA. So, I have a frame of reference.) They shouldn't wait too long to have you back. You should be a regular like Martin Clunes or Alexander Armstrong.
Paul's best partner was a tub of lard (some guest no-showed at the last minute, it was not BOJO) and the suitable replacement was a corner store tub of lard) the only difference was a cheap suit
3:37 When will get something better than TH-cam. When false copyright flags get so bad, even Lorraine's official channel has to blur BBCs footage out because they know the automated system will flag this for the BBC.
@@bannjaxx Thankyou, as a HIGNFY viewer on YT from down under, I also wondered what had happened last week. I'm guessing the event you refer to was Children in Need?

3:18 nice non-mention of Gyles Brandreth there, Paul. Very subtle. 😂
I don't think there's any doubt about that.
From the USA, I love the show and now we have a version in the USA. The last show with the host from the US was great. Keep it up.
Kia Ora from New Zealand - I was surprised the USA version was better than what I was expecting. Love UK sense of humour. Cheers.
Roy Wood Jr is a great comedian and a great observer of politics. He was a great host for the British show.
I think Brian Blessed was phenomenal as a host of HIGNFY - hysterically funny!
I agree with what Paul says. It does lift us up when the news can be so depressing.
thanks to Paul Merton I now know that the collative noun for bozo is cavalcade.
Shatner was awesome and Pail was so happy in awe of him too

Ilfracombe…….say it slowly….that was in fact memorable and so was his singing!
Paul please do a tour in Australia
Is it dolphin in a bathtub?

Called Lulu?

It was Roy Hattersly who was the no show.
It wasn’t last minute, that was the whole point - he let them down on more than one occasion having accepted the invitation to appear.
Great programme and Loraine's a treasure.
It's really been that long? I thought she hosted it relatively recently.

What happened to last week's show - I feel a loss :-) Looking forward to seeing you, Lorraine.
Possibly Red Nose Day broadcast last week. All the show would have been bumped.
Children in Need was on
@@icarusandtherabbitThank you, I've been a bit upset about not getting to see it. Sad but true. 😅
@@icarusandtherabbit Thank you
@@Mark-y8m9n Thank you... ironically, in the third world, didn't know it was time for that!
It's never on when CIN is on same night.
Lorraine was really good at presenting.
Well she has been doing it for 40 years!
Why isn't Ep 7 of Series 68 available on TH-cam???? Need to get my weekly fix here in Australia
It was charity telethon garbage last week - all the regular friday night shows get bumped.

@@sydnorth5868 yep - BBC's annual "Children In Need" charity night
@@sydnorth5868 It's spelt Chewdren in Nade
It is now
I think Paul’s best partner is Ross Noble. Miles Jupp is also stellar.
Is Paul sporting a Darth Vader haircut?
No, I stopped watching since brexit.
Have just started watching again for the past 6 weeks or so.
Bruce Forsyth didnt get a mention as outstanding host. That was a peak.
She's good but I can't make her out sometimes so record it and watch several times to get it all.
@20K a gig who would give it up? HIGNFY is out of touch dribble.

I wonder what his favourite word is?!
I take it as a positive that he isn't from a generation that likes to say 'like' in every single sentence.

your favourite word must be envy
The show should have been retired a decade ago
Last night the show was not amusing at all, it flopped!
Please no more Lorraine..I can't stand her.
HIGNFY. Always a favorite Hillsboro, Ohio
