@Juan Bolova Hate the comparison. One is a genius and the other is a blithering closed minded idiot who has held the same political opinions for 50 years.
Brilliant interview, Larry is so relaxed when with Rich, they really gel and just bounce off each other, Curbs is always topical of everyday life, full of belly aching laughs, the whole cast are incredible.
I have been following Curb Your Enthusiasm since it started back in 1999. One of the greatest, original, and hilarious shows ever made since Larry wrote Seinfeld. Larry David is a genius. He decided to create a show that's similar to Seinfeld, but everyone is playing themselves in a totally original script written by the man himself. You have to admire a man who wrote every single episode of a legendary sitcom like Seinfeld. So you should already know Curb is a "rated R Seinfeld" nothing short of greatness coming from the genius mind of Mr. David himself.
I love that genuine laugh. Thank you for describing it like that - it was hard to put into words but it really does look like that. I see it the most when he’s with Richard in Curb, like when they’re in Zaragoza and Larry didn’t get toast with his eggs.
Have not really watched Rich's show before. This is fantastic! Of course Larry David helps, but Rich is just excellent. Adding to my watch/listen list.
So weird that the destination wedding is in the new series of Curb. And the chinese restaurant bit from Richard Lewis's interview from the same year on this show is also there.
Paul O'Neill did a great job on that episode of "Seinfeld." "You don't hit home runs just like that. It's hard to hit home runs, and where the heck did you get two from?"
LD is always "himself" whether in front or behind cameras, that is something every fan knows, but this kind of doe-eyed innocence in his gaze during interviews like these really cements his authenticity and humanity and conjures up Oscar Wilde's old quote: "Be yourself, everybody else is taken." May you live long for our benefit, Mr. David.
David is a millionaire several times over. The guys entire wardrobe probably cost around 64 dollars and 98 cent's. The all time greats are always humble. editors note: the 64 dollar and 98 cent estimate is a very liberal estimation. Very.
Chris Serpicø One of the best episodes. He had the best sports episode of a comedy show ever when he took the hooker to the Dodgers game so he could use the HOV lane. Also got a guy off a false murder charge with that episode too.
If you get a chance to watch a seasons bloopers, LD laughs ALL the time. You can tell how much fun hes having and how much he loves it. I suggest to anyone watching LD with Ricky Gervais interviewing him.
Social problems : regarding taking food home from a party nobody even touched. My trick it to at least buy it ahead and display it on your own plate or platter. That way at the end of the night you get to take it home cause it is your plate.
Could you imagine having a time machine, going back in time, and telling an adolescent Larry David that he would make billions in TV and grow up to be the coolest white dude on the planet? What an unlikely icon
I HATE when people do not call the President President Obama,President Trump,President Carter ect ect. I don't care how good or how bad you think a President is....you should ALWAYS have a respect for the Office.
Reminds me of the first and only Yankee basement game I was forced to go to. That game was the shortest game in baseball history, I think 40 minutes give or take. I was so happy. Sorry baseball fans
Larry must really like you, Rich, cause he didn't correct the Al "Dowling" reference. The former Yankee southpaw who coughed up Hammerin' Hank's 715th was Al Downing.
I like the interviews that are different. These guys have been interviewed so much the interviews and questions are like copy pastes. There's a new one with Jerry Seinfeld that also stands out.
"You remember Chili Davis .. from the Yankees?" .. "Yeah, well, he was a Giant first .." Another thing to respect about Larry .. a true ball fan.
Played for them California Angels for a bit, too
He won a championship with the Twins. Therefore, he's a Twin.
I also consider him a Giant. Senior Circuit.
Eisen is bald. That's why Larry talks to him like a friend.
And truly bald, not just one who shaves his head (and thereby disqualified from the 'Bald Community' according to Larry.)
Eisen looks good bald, and I'm not gay. 🇮🇱😀🤯
Bear that in mind next time someone talks to you like you are a moron
Lol nice inside joke
Love Larry. Dont like this. But, you're Right
Larry David has looked 62 since he was 25
The good thing for him is that it seems that he also has stopped aging at that same number. I mean he's much older now but he still looks about 62.
He and Bernie Sanders have those Jewish genes where they look old until their 50’s and then they suddenly look young for their age.
Boba Fett they are third cousins
@Englebert Humperdink well Mel is too humble to pull a Ricky Henderson and coin himself "the greatest of all time".
@Juan Bolova Hate the comparison. One is a genius and the other is a blithering closed minded idiot who has held the same political opinions for 50 years.
So glad i clicked on this. Larry David is a national treasure. Props to Eisen for a fantastic interview.
This is the most comfortable I've ever seen Larry. Even his tone of voice is different.
he got to talk a lot of sports. long form helps too.
he loves this guy! this is like Me when I'm talking to Mark Danielewski;
This is one of the most comfortable interviews I've seen with Larry.
Brilliant interview, Larry is so relaxed when with Rich, they really gel and just bounce off each other, Curbs is always topical of everyday life, full of belly aching laughs, the whole cast are incredible.
Larry has brought us 3 decades of comedy gold
This is easily one of LD's best interviews...he's so damn hilarious, the judge and jury segment was hysterical
Larry David is mankind's greatest creation!
TheBluRayCritic ,
Why does the presenter keep saying 'this is the '?
@Sasha Stone oh brother....oh wait, should that be sister?
Iııhhhh ııhh eee eeee umhhhh ummmm🤔🖐
Nope that’s George castanza

Larry didn't write every single Seinfeld episode. He left in 96 two years before the end..
I guess you missed the part about how Curb is mostly ad-libbed.....
Why did you write this?
He’s not going to sleep with you, RC. . .
I could listen to Larry’s stories all day. And in quarantine I might just do that
Quarantine gang.
@@chandracollins5919 Same think🙂
Same 🤙
That's what I'm doing
I wish I could like this comment more than once🧨
Larry David's genuine laugh where he chews his jaw is like the most wholesome thing in the universe. The man is a legend.
I love that genuine laugh. Thank you for describing it like that - it was hard to put into words but it really does look like that. I see it the most when he’s with Richard in Curb, like when they’re in Zaragoza and Larry didn’t get toast with his eggs.
We throw around legend too loosely these days. I like LD, I think hes hilarious but legendary? Not sure if hes at that level
@@RichieIsRight hahaha yea the dude who created Seinfeld AND curb shouldn’t be described as legendary
@@RichieIsRighthes created two of the greatest sitcoms of all time. Its genuinely warranted praise
@RichieIsRight But…? George from Seinfeld is him! That’s so legendary
4:10, " I gotta go with the heeb." 😂😂😂
Im huge fan the the iconic, Series of Curb your enthusiasm. Its pure genius, Larry David, one of the funnest people alive such a legend.
This guy is a good interviewer. If Larry didn't go rogue, you are certified 100% great interviewer. This was a silky smooth conversation.
There can never be too much Curb!
Have not really watched Rich's show before. This is fantastic! Of course Larry David helps, but Rich is just excellent. Adding to my watch/listen list.
Something tells me Rich Eisen respects wood.
Lol...no rings on that desk.
😂
I agree, not like Jerry who doesn’t care about low grade woods.
That episode with Bill Burckner made me cry a little bit too, perfect ending.
Dude is literally himself on Curb
He says it's the guy we wishes he could be.
1: 35 reminded me of "My mother always told me I'm not special" by George Costanza
Well, Costanza is Larry David
Yea larry was told that by his mother, she wanted him to be a mailman
"Don't go."
Larry David = A gift to us from God
The word genius is thrown around a lot mostly people who don’t deserve it. That doesn’t apply here. Larry David is a genius
Remember... Mel Allen's - This week in Baseball & The "TWIB Notes"?
Simply the BEST!
Love Larry David ! "Curb your Enthusiasm" one of the funniest shows out there ! & He's a big Jets fan , which is cool too !
finally a baseball fan that doesn't obsess over Vin Scully. appreciate you Larry.
Best interview! Larry is always as charming as ever.
So weird that the destination wedding is in the new series of Curb. And the chinese restaurant bit from Richard Lewis's interview from the same year on this show is also there.
Larry is God's gift to comedy....
I really try and model my life after him....I tired of not saying anything. No more
Spectacular interview.
Rich Eisen is a better interviewer than Jimmy Fallon.
Helen Keller was.
yea pretty much anyone, fallon is horrible
That’s not too hard
I love how LD dresses the exact same as he does in Curb
Hmmm, LD is a real fan. Who knew. Good stuff, great interview.
Paul O'Neill did a great job on that episode of "Seinfeld."
"You don't hit home runs just like that. It's hard to hit home runs, and where the heck did you get two from?"
I thought Larry was there for that.
Wasn’t it season 6?
Then again he’d know i guess haha
Worth $400M and wears Sketchers 👌
And counting the Kung Pao shrimp ..
and sick about losing $120 playing golf! LOL
He’s all about comfort not labels
This reminds me of Steve Jobs and his Walmart jeans and a t-shirt.
Micheal Kelly Those are Sketchers?
This is great. All his throat clearing is worrying me. Larry is a god

Awesome interview!!
Larry is the coolest dude so chilled out.
“Why did you come to the wedding?”

How can you not like the guy?
if you are a muslim probably.
How can people like this Kigo guy?
yes, he is very concerned with people liking him......NOT!!!
The Legend he supported the chicken
Larry coughing unapologetically throughout this entire interview is one of the most Larry David things ever.
LOVE YOU LARRY!!!! Yes More Curb!!!!!
"The Jets Killed Carl....... and a little bit of the nicks" My favorite Curb quote ever. So hilarious.
"Can't make it, too far"
Social problems : regarding taking food home from a party nobody even touched. My trick it to at least buy it ahead and display it on your own plate or platter. That way at the end of the night you get to take it home cause it is your plate.
“Destination wedding” 😂And here Larry goes making an episode about that this season💯 gotta love this man
My favourite sitcom character of all-time and Elvid is just so pure.
Genius.
One of the rare interviews where Larry seems to enjoy being there.
Must be hard to be in CYE and also be known as one of the most successful managers in Boca Juniors history.
Explain
Could you imagine having a time machine, going back in time, and telling an adolescent Larry David that he would make billions in TV and grow up to be the coolest white dude on the planet? What an unlikely icon
His mother insisted he become a mailman! not that there is anything wrong with that.

Well said Jerry.
I have had that stuck in the throat problem once and immediately thought of that episode
...so what was the nsfw reason rich was alluding to?
It's Crazy That Larry David Was a NY Yankees Fan in Brooklyn and Was a NY Giants Fan Before The NY Jets Came Along!
Larry David the greatest
This is a great interview
Mr. David...Show us the Steinbrenner cut scene..pleaeaassse! 👍
Two fantastic people I love to listen to.
Oh wow he has a brother! Anyone else always picture him as an only child? 😂
Lol same
I'm convinced curb is just documentation of Larry.
Wow, what a unique comment.
God I would love one 10 second bit on Curb. I'd be forever indebted!
Steinbrenner once hosted SNL in the early 90’s and he was horrendous. Wouldn’t have worked on Seinfeld.
Solid that Larry instantly responds back that Chili was a Giant first. Awesome.
Never got bored watching Larry before but American Sports has done that for me today!!😂
loving all these LD TV appearances popping up around the new Curb season
two heroes in my life: Leslie Neilsen and Larry David
Larry is a living Genius
George Steinbrenner scene in Seinfeld wasn’t even that bad!
I thought he did a good job! I’ve seen it.
Brilliant!! So f***in funny!! Rich is right on, great season 9 of Curb!
Reminds me of the first and only Yankee basement game I was forced to go to. That game was the shortest game in baseball history, I think 40 minutes give or take. I was so happy. Sorry baseball fans
Curb has to be the only show that does that much ad lib and is that good
Larry David is a King maker.
Fantastic interview
A good reason no to go to a destination wedding - FATWA
cockneyfinn Hahah, sorry can't! *points randomly*, Fatwa
Didn’t they do that on Seinfeld? They all went to India for one of Elaine’s friend’s wedding, didn’t they?
My take on Bill Buckner. He did NOT lose that game. It was thrown away by their manager McNamera. He and the bullpen lost it.
My Dad has been a Red Sox fan since 46. He said they should have put Clemens in to get one hitter out.
Talking politics is always a bad idea. However, I still love Larry David.
"I could be a sports announcer. You're always saying how I make those good comments." -George Costanza.
"My sneakers were gone, I had to wear flip-flops!"
"FLIP-FLOPS!!!!"
Larry David is the best! I'd love to be best friends with Eisen and David.

Curb just did an episode about a destination wedding. Eisen needs a credit.
I fukn love Larry doing anything

He did the destination wedding in season 10! I wonder if he got the idea from this interview :)
I heard they originally wanted to get Sal Bass, but he was in the desert, so they got Salman Rushdie.
They seem like good friends lol, enjoyed this interview
Greatest get in sports show history, Rich.
Great episode!
