I disagree that it's a forgone conclusion, if we think about it, we've had to have the Met police used for other events and Taylor was blue lighted, this is not the same as Harry is wanting. H&M want full bells and whistles, protected by armed security, access to secret service files, security 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for ever! Harry already receives sufficient security when he comes to London and this is reviewed on a case by case basis ensuring that he is in fact safe. It is Harry who doesn't want to give the required notice and stays elsewhere so essentially he puts himself in danger! All of these things will be taken into consideration. Taylor did not receive what Harry is after.
Harry has also visit much more dangerous countries and didn't bother then. There may be more crime in London than there was years ago but generally it is much safer than other western countries. All of these things will be looked at. If Harry didn't already have security when he visit I'd say that was different, but he does, he just chooses not to play by the rules perhaps to get the full IPP bells and whistles. They might at a push upgrade it but he won't get what he wants

Agree. The court will make a decision based on law and evidence, not the court of public opinion. I shouldn't say, because I'm not paying the bill... But I think the police escort for Taylor is okay, and kind of fun. Her concerts bring a lot of revenue into the city, so it's still a net profit for London.
