Just checking out the Thresher album Steve. It sounds good. Toxic Holocaust on deck. This was a fine example of some more of the thrash bands that I never heard of or listened to. You surely know and appreciate the metal genre. Thanks for sharing them~ Rob/Boston

Agreed. It sucks that they basically split up after their drummer died, but what's crazy is that none of them have done anything since as far as I can tell. It's looks like they quit music altogether...which is crazy.
Hi Steve.Great update.Good thrash albums are allways welcome to any metal heads collection. I think Ronnie Romero were a singer for Rainbow 4 years ago. THEY played here in FINLAND at Hyvinkää's old military airfield.TUOMO FROM FINLAND
Yeah, Ronnie was Rainbow, not Deep Purple...I realized the mistake when I went back and watched it, but decided to just leave it....you're the first to catch it, haha. Would love to have seen Rainbow. Thanks for stopping in...happy new year.
Nice. I just got into Toxic Holocaust in 2019. I never heard them, then saw them open for Sacred Reich and thought they were great. I grab all of their albums when I see them now. Saw them a couple of months ago with Havoc...such a great show!.

Dude, when you "shouted out Scott Waters" right at the beginning, for a second, I thought that was him in disguise. It probably only would have been half a second, but I really *wanted* to believe it, hahaha!

Awesome stuff buddy. I really gotta get on buying the last 2 mortification records I need. I'm like you on the anthrax sleeve. I hated it so much I tossed it. Grabbed that newberry comics one too. Any shows in Atlanta on your schedule coming up?
Yeah, the whole sleeve thing on an album drives me nuts...just too much. Not much planned as far as shows. I've got tickets to Tool on Jan 24, and I will probably go see Go Ahead and Die at The Earl the first week of February. Not much else planned after that.
Great stuff, FYI check out a band called Fires in the Distance, they have a doom death kind of feel and also some instrumentation that's great, they remind me of early Amorphis, My Dying Bride; there are 2023 album Air Not meant for us is excellent.
Thanks for the heads up. Checked out their albums on TH-cam and really like what I heard. I'm always hesitant to by vinyl from Prosthetic though. Some of the worst sounding records I've bought were from them. Not sure where they get their stuff pressed, but man is their vinyl noisy.
