I started playing very late in Legion, I wish I had gotten into it earlier. BFA was fine IMO cause I had nothing else to compare it to, but Shadowlands killed my enjoyment of retail. I've been playing classic exclusively for over a year now. I wish I could've been around in MoP and Legion, everything I've heard about them points to them being great expansions.

No one ever heard of most Illidari DHs. There were 3 night elven instructors (dead), 1 blood elf (dead, with Legion in WoW: Legion), 1 blood elf who went crazy (dead) and 1 elf who betrayed Illidan and is in DH starting zone. So, it´s not like our characters are special, because almost every other DH was created for Legion´s story.
I don't know if they were aware. I mean, we really don't know what happened to her once she was taken over. Who would have guessed the demons would go after THE demon hunter.
Debi Mae West is such an amazing voice actor. She did the voice for Lady Maiev in this cutscene, but is also known for doing Tsunade in the English dub of Naruto.
I want them to do more cinematics like this cause these are just so awesome in capturing the fight between our character and the wardens and I just wanna see more

In the class order hall campaign, I think, you're there as a demon hunter, but after the 6th wave you can't kill the adventurers anymore. They talk about getting loot and stuff LOL.
Come on guys! Like, she literally says she'll do anything to protect Azeroth. Illidan says the same thing, when she finds out they're on the same side... Well. Things might evolve in a not so hostile manner.
I wrote this to someone else to help explain how she can do these thing, so i'll just copy/paste it. ...A lot of people seem to forget that, before Maiev became a Warden and one of the best fighter in Azeroth. She was only second to Tyrande as the priestess of Elune. This is similar to people forgetting that Illidan was actually one of the most powerful mage in the world before becoming a demon hunter. Not to mention the fact that unlike Tyrande and Malfurion who relatively lived in peace for most of their 10,000 year; Maiev have been actively dealing with very powerful threats for that entire time period, as it was her duty as warden. Meaning, she's a lot more powerful than what many give her credit for.
Well, you can't judge the players for underestimating her, remember that in WC3 we were only able to use 4 skills with her, and the fact that she didn't show like almost anything of her magical powers with some exceptions didn't help in anything.
She actually references it two times. Once during the Azsuna campaign, when Jarod helps her escape. She's grateful for her "little brother" to come "even after...." and Jarod cuts her off, but she's clearly meant to say "I tried to kill you." The second is during the Night Warrior questline in BfA, when she asks Tyrande if she really trusts her that much, given their past. So no, it's not forgotten, she just gets away with her actions because she's needed.
