When it fail, she just toss it on the ground. WHAT WAS THE POINT?!?! i just pointing a single things out, i would have to stop the show at every minute to point out the inconsistency.
I think the modernization is fine, and I actually kinda like it. It’s unique in that it’s so blatant in a fantasy story. That’s cool. What makes this show abysmal to watch is the complete lack of any redeeming qualities for any of the main characters. They’re all straight up assholes, especially everyone’s least favorite princess.

The writers can try to make the Bone Reavers to be noble freedom fighters but I still remember them killing the old man from the first episode. No warning, right in the back, pretty sure they made his skull into a mask. I don't buy their story, they need to be wiped.
Noble freedom fighters who wear the skulls of their enemies. And boil them alive. Their founder, General Kale, was a murderous brute who took pleasure in causing death, destruction, and despair. But hey, they also dance to anachronistic music including guitars, even though the "band" clearly only has flutes and a drum. And slow dancing death warriors? Uh huh.
Well to be fair none of the main characters seemed to care about the old man either. ThIs despite him having probably helped bring up Kit and her brother for many years.
Thank you for sitting thru the pain of this series because i dont have the heart to watch it. I grew up always hoping they would continue the series but after watching the first episodes, i just...cant... it should have been epic like Lord of the Rings, and it ended up being like Gossip Girl.

The thing I like about Alteori is that while there are a lot of people who try to be "weird" or "quirky" by wearing alt clothes and painting their nails black, Alteori is one of those creators who just IS weird and quirky without even trying because that's just the way she genuinely is.
The intro scene looks like something you would see in an Asylum movie on SyFy, but done a bit cheesier. Also, Willow with a flamethrower, that was a thing.
It´s almost as if they would feel the need to destroy every childhood hero we had. All of them either failed to do their tasks, gave up or simply never became the great warrior/mage they were meant to be at the end of their movies.
To give what little credit is due to Princess Dickbag... she shoots *an arrow* in this episode. I mean, her attack fails and she immediately discards her bow afterwards... But hey! I'm happy for that one arrow.

Were they worried about a political power struggle corrupting her? Were they hiding her from possible attack, kidnapping, and/or assassination? Is Sorsha actually evil now? It would explain alot at this point.

Also, the same bonereavers killed Santa in the episode 1 (when nobody cared), and now still nobody cares, as if that never happened. It was strange to me when characters started partying together and not a single soul remembered Santa's murder.

The only reason RoP still has the first place in worst Fantasy-TV-show is that Rop deviates massively from its writen sourcematerial while simultaneously claiming to stay oh so true to it. I had this episode on in the background while doing random chores. I may have stopped to pay attention 3 or 4 times and I missed nothing. Every time I threw out a random "revelation" it was spot on. The only people who deserve praise are the people who filmed the landscapes.
You need to be careful with which comments you pay attention to; it's a well known phenomenon that people, even more so online content creators on social media and such that deal a lot with direct interactions and feedback from the general public, tend to feel the bad comments are in much bigger number than they really are, and the opposite for the friendly stuff. I don't remember the last time saw anyone saying anything particularly bad in the comments of your vids, and tons of people praising your reactions, analyses etc.
This reminds me of that scene in A Knights Tale where they go to a formal dance within the castle and started playing some modern pop song to dance to. Credit to all the violinists, I guess. 😂
Probably the funniest part of that last-minute abduction is that face at 24:34 - I mean, goddamn. LOOK at that face. My roommate was making food in the kitchen and then walked by during that opening sequence and his words were, "Oh, thats the actual music of the show and not a parody." Also I dont think scorpion lady is hot at all... But at least the show finally had some fantasy music during the end credits this time.
I saw *WILLOW* [1988] just once, the year it was released, while I was in training in Phoenix, Arizona. {I was living in South Florida at the time.} I would NOT ruin THAT MEMORY bu watching THIS SHOW.
