Hey man love the setup! How do you safely use propane in a shed or garage? I was thinking of working out of my garage with the propane tank stored right outside the door.
Just tuning in to your channel now.... I'm interested in starting a home roasting business and was wondering how many pounds/Kgs can the 1kg roaster produce/day?
I have the 1kg as well and even with the drum speed setting at max (which seems to be about 62 RPM) I don't seem to have the same kind of nice rotation of the beans as you do. Any idea what would be the culprit?
Would you say that, relatively speaking, smaller batches will/can be shorter? If I roast 50g with a heat gun, would the total roast time goal be shorter?
Thanks for all your informative videos. I'm planning to purchase the 2 kilo roaster and operate from my ground floor apartment and thought to lay out the duct thru the window and 1-2 meter above its frame. Wondering about the smoke volume it generates during the roasting process, will the smoke be noticible and how does it smell?
Hi there, If you're doing a light roast it will be mostly negligible but the darker you go the more smoke you can expect. It smells very similar to popcorn.
I'm totally digging your videos. I've been thinking about purchasing a roaster around this size in the next year or two. Have you roasted coffee in your other jobs before you ever purchased this mill city roaster?
We just bought this for our small batch business! Thanks for the review, we're already in love.

Hi there,
When you are talking about temperature, do you refer to it in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit?
Hi there,
I am talking in terms of F
Thats pretty cool.👍
How loud is the Mill City when it's running?
I have a hard time getting sub 10 minute development on 100g in my Behmor.
Licked your video
Yeah, I won't go near a coffee that doesn't have "sea salt-type vibes." For me, that's not negotiable.
