Great video! My 2012 Santa Fe has started knocking or clunking whenever it shifts gears, I thought it was the gears but could it also be the mount? It happens whenever I brake or accelerate.
HI! Thanks again for these videos. Just wondering what you think about this same car having vibration in drive at stop. If I put it in neutral it then stops shaking. My thoughts are both of the mounts that you replaced. What are your thoughts? Thank you!
@@kudynski make sure the engine is running properly and compression is good. The rear mount is hydraulic. If the fluid leaks out you can feel vibration at idle in Drive.
Hi Sir! Thank you for the video! I Have vibration on my steering wheel of my Santa Fe 2011 3.5 in ralenti. Do you know if this mount help me with that? Thanks!
I have a 2008 Hyundai Santa fe is clunks pretty loud when shifting from Reverse to Drive, would replace this mount help the issue and is this the only transmission mount?
@@Mr-Mower hi. Thanks for you comment. Most common mount to fail is the rear hydraulic one. But check them before replacing. Have another person shift the car from drive to reverse and back while you listen under the hood. Take safety measures like insuring the hand brake is set firmly. You should be able to figure it out. Cheers

@garysgarage2118 sounds good thank you sir happy holidays!
@ happy holidays to you sir.
what are the symptoms that you need to replace that transmission support
There was a vibration on acceleration. Replacing the mounts reduced that significantly.
Do you know where is the exact location of transmission mount on 08 hyundai veracruz
I have not worked on a Veracruz. Sorry
If charging someone for this repair, what would the costs be?
It will depend on many variables. Average should be $450.
Thank you sir
You're welcome. Glad I could help.
Would this be the same procedure for a 2012 2.4 L santa fe?
Very similar. Some of The mounts look different but the procedure is the same
@@garysgarage2118 thank you so much
