Played MotoGP22 for months and from the last week in SBK22. They're two different games in terms of bike behaviour. When in MotoGP22 I can push the bike more fluent and in perfect line without assist marks then in SBK22 it's a totally different way. On my opinion SBK22 fell more demanding and slightly better for play especially with reduced assists in Portimao.
Imagine they bring each game separately und get much more money and get richer and richer every day without doing any work. Welcome to the gaming industry in d 2022
It makes a lot of sense actually, because they are two completely different championships. SBK would never want to have their name under MotoGP as they are still their own World Championship. They have the same owners, but that doesn't really matter when it comes to publicity and how these championships are managed
Interesting, based on just the textures side by side at the beginning I would have bet that SBK22 would dominate visually, but when the games are actually in motion, MotoGP22 actually steps way up, something about the way everything looks as you're passing and approaching is just dramatically better.
Thanks a lot for this video. I’m VERY happy to see the behavior differences between these 2 categories, it’s pretty realistic !! I also can see the little technical improvements, especially under rain. Milestone is going better and better and bring us serious good motorcycles games in the industry, I was waiting that SINCE SOOOOOOOOOO LONG…….. Thank you Milestone. I definitely go buy SBK22. Thanks again for the video !! Big salut from France, ViNZ.
Exactly. The sense of speed in the MotoGP and SBK games is so bad. I can't judge my braking or corner speed worth a crap and I end up either braking too much or just flying past the corner
The sound completely ruins the game, I wish they would actually take sound samples and integrate them into the game. SBK did not sound half bad though!
@@Palonbolo There is no MotoGP 04 from Milestone, perhaps it was MotoGP 14? And there are very different way of physics and handling of MotoGP games (and their other series such as Ride and MXGP) ever since Milestone changed the engine to UE4. (I have MotoGP 15 and it was big differences compared to 19, 20, and 21). You may have a point if you said this game (MotoGP 23) is the same game since MotoGP 18, because after that big update, it's pretty much just refinement with minimal changes every year.
Neither of the bikes seam very connected to the track. Look down at their back tire while they are turning, they both look like cardboard cutouts superimposed onto a screen.
@@MyGtmax I haven't tried that yet but from the videos I've seen it sure look fast also. They really need to fix this in the GP series since it's turning into a snooze in last versions. @@trumplostlol3007 Well true but that shouldn't be needed, they nailed the sense of speel in the old Moto GP 1,2, 06, 07 and then Capcom took over and the series have played catch up since.
I'm not sure where MotoGP has gone wrong in the past two years, but from a casual gamer's point of view, the handling's hit rock bottom. I mean sure, the point is realism, but they could maybe at least add an option for the olrd arcade handling from MotoGP 20 maybe? Is that too much to ask? I mean I've played all the MotoGP games since 2015, and in these last two years the handling's drastically changed and not necessarily for the better
Or you stop sucking at the game and put the work into get better. The handling is the best I have ever played in an motorcycle game. Then again I actually have 12 yrs ACTUAL real world riding experience
@@matthewoconnell4700 Yeah, Ride 4 feels great if we want just to play game casually, the handling is easier compared to MotoGP games. It just too bad the ai is atrocious and Milestone never update the game to have more riders on track like PS5 version.
Guys, help me remember. As a child, I played some kind of MotoGP, I remember exactly that there was a branch in the plot into something like street racing, I played on a PC
I really don‘t like the handling in MotoGP 22. I’ve been playing Ride 4 alot lately and decided to buy MotoGP 22 when it was on discount. But when I then played it for the first time I was completely disappointed. The Graphics are good but the handling is garbage imo. The should‘ve stuck with the Ride 4 handling
Bro everyone argues that moto gp is the holy grail of realistic physics. I rode for a while and from what I feel, ride 4 feels much more realistic. I only played a little of moto gp 21 but it doesn’t feel good. Feels like you’re stuck to the pavement I almost had to force myself to slide out on corners. I think ppl play ride and don’t take off the bike assists like tcs and anti wheelie. IMO ride 4 feels so much like being on a bike irl. Not perfect maybe but you feel like the bike and the road are separate. And any mistakes cost you on ride 4.

they're supposed to have 'seamless' gearboxes so the riders don't feel the gear changes. Simon Crafer commented on this when he got a chance to ride KTM's MotoGP bike for a few laps. He was most impressed by the gearbox.
What I hate in every MotoGP game is the blurry shadow & the looks like the bike is floating !!!
