A Day in the Lithuanian Countryside: Lithuanian Food, Flowers & Family Moments | Lithuania Vlog 3

Lithuania Vlog Part III. I hope you enjoyed the first two parts of my visit to Lithuania and all the Lithuanian food!! On my third day visiting my family in a Lithuanian village, where I used to live, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents, who I haven't seen for a while, sadly. It's always the best seeing them and we can always pick up where we left off. After that my mum and I took part in a very traditional Lithuanian summer activity - swimming outdoors. I feel like no one really does it here in England, but in Lithuania, especially the countryside, people love spending their summertime by the lake or any other place you can swim in lol.
After swimming and soaking up the sun, we went home and enjoyed some of my mum's traditional Lithuanian food - barsciai (beetroot soup). It's one of my favourite soups, and when it's my mum who cooks it it's just extra good. xoxoxo
After that we went to wander around the Lithuanian countryside and visited my grandma's old garden (or allotment as they call those in England). It's a very cosy garden, with loads of fruit, veg and flowers! My cottagecore garden dream ;))

There are a few more parts of my Lithuania travels coming up too, so this is definitely not the last one! Also this footage is from 2023, because I was so slow putting it all together. I went to Lithuania again a month ago, so there will be plenty more content to come from more recent times.
