Mike, thank you for this wonderful trip Along the Beaten Path. It’s such fun riding along with you and meeting so many talented and interesting people like Wayne. I’m reserving my seat for next month’s trip. I certainly don’t want to miss it. Take care, my traveling friend.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
Awesome video Mike!. Love these "working drummer " videos. Wayne is so humble and dedicated to his craft... and certainly talented! I'm trying to be as versatile with my drumming chops myself- So I can work on all kinds of gigs. great advice.
That is a great drum room! It’s cool to see how a working drummer does just that. I like the “bacon wood” snare shelving too. (It that an Acrolite I see?) Thanks for the interview!
Not gonna lie my wife and I are thinking of moving from DC/MD to NC to be closer to family so I totally get what he’s saying. It’s really tough having kids and no help, especially since we both work. It’s like come what may you know life will work itself out and you’ll naturally adjust. But nice to see him making the move and it working out. Edit: Luckily I’m self employed and can work anywhere so I can drum and work uninterrupted lol
Oh, it's something I considered greatly after traveling a bunch in my touring days. It's really nice to have a support network in my state right now, let alone whenever I chose to start a family.
I love that you guys launched the hot wheels car at the end!
About time somebody brought that up!

I didn’t know you did doc style vids like this. Really cool! That furniture he built for the studio is sick! And damn that jazz kit sounds sweeeeet.
It’s part of a series I run. 12 episodes deep as of now, excited to keep adding to it!
@@malonedrum I found you through your sick ass beats on shorts. Can’t wait to see more bro!
