I’m here because mine arrived today and I love it I got it for daily use for short errands that are in walking distance I can fit a compact umbrella house keys a reusable shopping bag and over the ear headphones and a lightweight jacket and water bottle the supermarket and target are all walking distance like 20 minutes all the stuff I mentioned did fit i haven’t worn it yet but I packed it out to see how much i could hold it’s worth it to me
I bought this as my primary Steam Deck carry case and hope to use it as my "airplane goodies" bag on my next flight. As noted it can be a little bulky but I have been really happy with it so far.
It'll only squeak when you pack quite some stuff in the bag. The weight combines with body motion will create high tension on the strap, it's the cause of that squeaky sound.
I love that you guys always include a female model at the beginning. It looks huge on her and she’s 5’5. I’m 5’2 so I think it would just look ginormous on me 😭 really nice bag though at a great price
One correction: you CAN take the strap off. Just push the round middle part on the attachment point and the strap will come off ;) The side straps also are very usefull if you want to hang a hoodie or a light jacket, they aren't really functional for the shape as they don't really help so much in that way..
I've been loving Tomtoc lately. Very affordable option but you can tell the attention to detail they put into their products. I have several of their items and none of them disappoint. Dependable, reliable, quality products for those on a budget.
It's a mystery to me why some people think $68 for a 5l bag is "very affordable". OK - kinda apples and oranges - but for that kind of money you can get a really solid 30L backpack from Decathlon - that's what I would call "very affordable".
I Like Tomtoc Too Size Looks Big , But it's Really Cause We Wanna Carry That PC-Game Console Along with us + the accessories that go with it + Other utilities. Thanks For The Video , It Helps A Lot . I ACTUALLY Ordered This Bag 💼 Then Only Saw This Video 😅😇😂🤦🏻♂️🙄
Can you use as a Fanny pack.. I really like this! I don’t like my backpack especially in the airport…it’s just so heavy! I’m older and can’t wear the bp like I used to.
I have the same one, it's almost my ideal sling but the squeaky sound it's a real inconvenience, you are not crazy ;) I have another sling, more "pro" like the aer and i prefer that. As usual, great review!
I can confirm that it will fit a DJI Pocket 3 with the battery handle and the tripod attached, also with the DJI Mic 2 clipped onto the top of the case.
@@lukin_io I use two that are almost perfect for my use case but still not perfect. 1 is alpaka flight sling, I love the thin material, fits my ipad mini but the interior pockets could be better. The second one is the Aer city sling, really the organization but can't fit my ipad mini. I have an evergood CAS2 too but I haven't use it yet because work has been super busy. Initial impression it does fit my ipad mini and the admin pocket has plenty of organization.
One measurement which would be helpful on your bag reviews, specifically slings, would be strap length… maybe a measurement of minimum and maximum length. This would be helpful information for people with smaller or larger body sizes. Thanks for the great reviews.
Thanks for this review! I have been thinking about picking this up and I think your review just sold me on it. Cheers!
Thanks for watching! 😃
I have been waiting for this review!

I can confirm that the Steam Deck in a similar tomtoc case fits just fine. Great review!
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙

Hi Eric! I’ve had this a few months and it quickly became my daily carry. Plenty of room for EDC stuff and a camera 😎
Nice, Joe! What camera do you throw in there most often?
@@PackHacker2X100 or a Film SLR

Im 5’3” and I love it for when I want to carry my iPad mini, water bottle/thermos and other EDC. Can even fit a thin long sleeved layer.
+1 for Steam Deck. I have this sling and my Steam Deck fits in the main compartment nicely
i'm sold. this is probably the best airplane bag for me.
🤙🤙🤙
Always keeping my eye out for TomToc gear, thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching! 😃
I bought the smaller version for my ally rog and it’s a pretty tight fit. I’m going to save up for this one now

@@PackHacker2 ops, sorry.. I heard "can't".. :P :P :P thanks again for your work! :)
It does kind of sound like that! 😂
@PackHacker2 hi, you should try to talk a little slower and more clearly..this is the case in all videos where you take part.
@@aesthetilicius I mean, I don't really count in this, english is not my main language :)

Not a fan of blue for liners but looks like a neat sling apart from that. 5.5L is good competition for the 6L Aer Day Sling 3 Max.
I Like Tomtoc Too

I like this one, an inexpensive kargo loculus or chrome kadet mini.
yeah like kadet mini with more pockets
I like the look of it but too big for edc
Please do a review of Grey Ghost Gear Crossbody Sling.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.
The awesome X-pack version for $89 dollars, I'm thinking about buying it
We have that one, too, and love it!
I hope tomtoc update most of their items just because of the new logo
i'm curious if that bag can handle a small camera, like an x-s20 with a sigma 18-50mm
Definitly it can. My x-h2s+18-50mm sigma and another lens fits into that bag.

what is the pro sling one?
@@YosuaNangin I have the Aer Day Sling 3 X-Pac, i wore for a time but i feel more confortable with the Tomtoc designs
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
This bag vs mini kadet, which one better?
Can the tomtoc carrying case for the hori split pad compact fit in it?
Can this fit a mini 3 pro with controller? Bonus if it can fit a pocket 3 also. Trying to find a sling just big enough for travel camera setup.
I can confirm that it will fit a DJI Pocket 3 with the battery handle and the tripod attached, also with the DJI Mic 2 clipped onto the top of the case.
Could a switch lite plus iPad mini fit and a pro controller?
Can you put IN THE waist??
Thanks for the review.
Does anyone know, will a kindle fire HD 10 fit in ok?
Cheers 🍻
I wish something like THAT from Tomtoc BUT 2L, not 4L or 5L. :/
I second this! 2l or 2.5l max is my sweet spot for edc
@@YosuaNangin i only found "TIMBUK2 Rascal Belt Bag, Eco Black", 2l with OK number of pockets. Any other suggestions? thx.

Can it fit a Sony Xm5 headphones?🎧
I like that. Looks just a little too big for me.

I find metal parts inside pockets a downside - it’s much easier to scratch phones etc compared with plastic clips.
Odd, I’ve never heard mine squeak
I love this sling
But the sqeaking makes me ging nuts😅
