I love the whole of this album. Jasmine’s writing is so good. As others have said, the space she leaves, her resolutions, the instrumentation is so well executed that it feels like more than the sum of its parts. Sensational stuff, can’t wait to hear more from her
lovely ! i hoped for that theme at 1:40 to come back at some point but hey that's just a matter of personal preference. would love to hear more beautiful melodies played in unison like that instead of solos generally in modern jazz
