This may be the most impressive bench I have ever seen, regardless of weight class. No leg drive and he made it look like a freaking warm-up. Congrats Sir!!!
Antarctic Vortex he cant help him with legs or back....just chest and arms. nobody can defeat him.... im valid 150kg P L and my maxi in competition is 237,5 !!!!(raw with stop time in chest ok7 but leg and back traction help us by strength conduction... ).. im sure i cannot arrive 200 if i lift with a peridural anesthesy !!!!!!
A friend of mine and I had the opportunity to see this competition. After the 305kg sucessful lift he came back for a 4th lift of 310kg and was sucessful. This guy still had more strength in him as he made all his lift look easy. What a beast, congrats Saimand!
The strength required to do this is beyond my imagination. 305kg is insane for someone without his disability. He has zero leg drive, no arch, very little lat support, and his flat back means his stabilizers are mostly strapped to that bench. And yet, despite all of that, he still lifted that weight and pressed it with steadier hands than most of us can manage with non-max weight. Well done, sir.
@@doctordeath2551It really puts this lift into perspective. Not to mention just getting around in everyday life is much more physically demanding for him.
It is hard not to get teary eyed while watching this. It doesn't matter what cards you have been dealt in life. You can achieve whatever you dream. The only question is how hard are you willing to work for it?
I just received some sad news from an Iranian friend. Shahram Raham passed away recently. Apparently the worlds strongest paralifter had a weak heart, he died of a heart attack. I love weightlifting and these guys are a true inspiration. That is an impressive weight to lift, paraolympian or regular olympian. RIP to Shahram Rahman of Iran.
I truly fell from 7th sky when I read he died😭😭 I loved not because he was super strong but the way he always lived life remembering Allah and also never let his legs stop his legendness😭😭😭😭😭😭 May Allah Give Him Peace
he could no doubt do it with the same strength he had in this Olympics if entering a most powerlifting contests because the technique even in ipf is more relaxed.
went and watched kirills world record bench press. As perfect as Kirills technique is and how ungodly a 335kg bench press is, he still went straight down and up. Siamand has to wait for down and up commands so there is a significant pause involved. One judge even gave a red light for this lift! The Paralympics also involves much heavier drug testing than kirills meet which probably has zero testing.
@@theplaylister30 I was kidding, about the lightweight part. I had just seen a vid of Ronnie Coleman lifting weights and he says it in the vid . Thats where I got the lightweight lightweight.
For all powerlifters here that compete IPF, WRPF, USAPL, USPL etc just imagine this guy, breaks the all time world record bench press in the Olympics which doesn't even fully include the sport. That's truly a phenomenon
Went to comment section expecting to see "he skipped leg day jokes" however was pleasantly surprised with everyone who was so supportive. Thank y'all :)
Definitely the strongest pound per pound bench in the world plus, a flat back, no leg drive?? That's ultra impressive. He's way stronger than Kirill will ever be Pound per pound

Maybe the best bench press of all time considering he has to lay completely flat being tied to the bench press with no arch.or leg drive to help him.
captain kirk I used to bench press like that back flat feet flat
Didn’t know I was supposed to arch my back and use my legs
