I'm not 100% qualified to answer this probably but I can tell you what we use. The main camera that I carry is a Canon XA10. I know Canon has the Vixia line of cameras that I've heard wont break the bank, I just don't have any experience with them. Sorry.

@@andrewprescott1565 you don't NEED the 336 mount, but it does make for a slightly smaller profile than some mounts. You can also have the one piece benelli weaver mount cut and slotted and use it instead so you don't have to have any more holes drilled in your receiver.

It's a 336 mount. You must have the receiver drilled/ tapped. You can get a little better look at it in one of the reWork videos.
