Gorgeous piece of property . Adore your thoughts on the kitchen area and the gas stove . The kitchens in my family are loaded with memories of baking , cooking , problem solving , laughter and kiddos and friends . You sure have the right perspective . Can't wait to see more.
Jane im so excited for you 👏🏻👏🏻 your creativity is really flowing with the ideas coming in for your home. I cant wait to see it all unfold. So so happy for you. What a wonderful project x
Jane! I love how you see it all. good taste vision :) when you talk about good energy flow, you chose it to be lightweight- see trough- change friendly furniture and other things. allso your cats will love that place outside :)
Beautiful piece of property Jane! I love the outdoor space with all the trees! The existing patio area looks and feels like there will be many great memories made there! Can’t wait to see the next update!
I like your vision for antiquing the addition to make it consistent with the historic part of the house. Have you considered ripping out the sheetrock and installing lath & plaster?
It's going to be stunning!! I love your entertainment patio! I am so happy for you Jane! I wish you many years of happiness and blessings in your new home!
Hey love! So excited to see this!!! Your tarot vids were set in a different space these last few months so I can now see why! I recently purchased a new home with my family too so we'll be doing what you're doing within a month or two!!! Excited but kinda dreading all the hard manual labour at the same time! HAHA! Sending you so much love!
Your brick patio looks great from what I could tell I don't think anyone ever regrets getting stone work around there house. I am kinda obsessed with stonescaping and kinda obsessed with stone in general. So my opinion might be slightly biased. But continuing on around the side of the house and tieing the old brick work into new would be impressive. A house that old deserves stone. Anything less is a insult to the place. Just my opinion :)
I love stone too!!! The brick patio and walkways on this house are lovely - and I intend to keep that and pull it into the interior of the house a little bit too.
I really love your plans for the kitchen. Having the 3 windows and the French doors is going to let so much light in.. and who doesn’t want to look at trees while they’re washing dishes 😊 I knew you were going to put a dresser against that wall 😄 And yeah, having good energy flow is so important. I’ve ended up moving people’s furniture for them in the past, because it just didn’t feel right. I’m looking forward to watching you set these things in motion.
Yay! I'm so happy you like the ideas :D It's still a work in progress but these windows are facing EAST (which, in Feng Shui I'm in the East group (Kua 9)) and the sunrise is the most important thing for me so letting as much light as possible in is critical. I think a dresser HAS to go against that wall, right? I mean... what else? I could do open shelves perhaps too - but it might look too messy. If you have any decor ideas I'd love to hear!!
@@janeshouse8921 you’ve got me curious about Feng Shui now 🤔 I’ve always worked with the flow of energy, but not looked into Feng Shui. Yeah I’d go for a dresser.. but that’s mostly because mess or clutter freaks me out a bit 🤷♂️ A dresser would really match the age of the house 😊 I’ll have a think on the decor.. that’s not something I’m too experienced with. I guess colours that match the kind of energy you’re going for. I love that you’ll be enjoying the sunrise in your kitchen, and out on the patio too. I’m genuinely really excited for you 😊
Did you consult with a feng shui professional? If not, what resources did u leverage, any book recs? I'm fascinated by the subject but not sure where to start.
You know I learned a lot of the basics just from random websites - but as I got deeper I ended up buying the Feng Shui for dummies good which was really good! Recommmended **
Hoping the kitchen is going good 💖 i cant wait to see the final look!!

Nice plans! Good luck, btw....An old kitchen all-in-one cabinet unit was called a hoosier 😊

I love the Dixie Room window. ❤️❤️❤️
Some of the brightest light is found in the darkest of places.
Yes indeed!!!
Love the Dixie Room window too! ❤❤❤
JAne... love your new home. Wishing you a wonderful renovation experience... and that live inside this house is blessed.
Thank you!!!
I’m happy for you! What a beautiful zen spot you’ve picked for yourself.
Beautiful grounds.
Given your current challenges, you should probably not be in the house until mold remediation is done. Get that mold out of your house.

Omg that freestanding oven, I recently got one that’s going to be used as a prop in my new adventure
