I had unsubscribed from All In, but when I watched this video, I had to re subscribe. Gurley is the best guest I have seen on YT, he should be Installed to regulate the DNC and the RNC, this would fix the world's most corrupt mess- Washington DC.

I was a founding member of a San Francisco-based CLEC built on the Telecommunications Act of 1996, of which Benchmark was an investor. I can truly say that Bill Gurley has nailed EXACTLY what killed not only my company, but the whole competitive telecom industry, and named the bad guys. Well done Bill. We need more frank presentations like this!

When we were running our start-up, getting to sit down in a meeting with Bill Gurley was a treat, something I remember 20 years later. Throughout the years we've spoken with countless VC's but he definitely stands out for being so smart, friendly and humble at the same time. This guy is all substance.

This is absolutely amazing. One of the best talks I've listened to in a while.
One of my investors and good friends said he had to have a $20 million slush fund when starting 15 distilleries in Florida and few years ago. They went through it all. Government officials and local officials made sure they got their cut. Brutal.
Its organized corruption. But the politicians act sanctimonious and self righteous while they enrich themselves with kickbacks

Best presentation I’ve ever seen live. Instant standing ovation as soon as he was done. The man knows how to captivate an audience with a captivating message.
I loved it. But people like hearing that the government is the problem. Even tho in this presentation, corporations are also the problem
Government is only the problem in these stories because they enable giant corporations. Government doesn't have to do that, and is not itself fundamentally evil or incapable of regulating in a way that genuinely successfully promotes competition and innovation.
