When i first got engage limbs legs I would take them off, that ended quickly. Over the past 3 years they have lived on my bows 24/7, shot tac 7 springs the past 3 years with them, hunt out of the saddle with them. Got the lift 33 now with the exo legs and they haven't been off since i got it lol, pretty much put them on and forget about it.

      Good to know, thanks!
How do you like the lift 33?
What set up would you recommend for a beginner saddle hunter?

the only benefit of taking them off is to reduce the weight of your bow and make it quieter they dont impact your point of impact...... what youve done is made the situation worse your bow is always heavier, when you take them off they hang and can move which will influence your aim and make it worse...... and on the shot its another piece that vibrates creating noise....... what exactly is the point of making them hang off your bow its litterally worse than leaving them on......... id understand if you made a clip on your belt but this is just stupid

      😂
It’s not intended to hang off the bow.
I did make it to hang off my belt or back pack. Just like the video stated. I clip it to the bow primarily to keep the tether from swinging around. Second reason is in the unlikely event that it is dragged off the bow when hiking through brush, it is not lost.
      Thanks for your comment!

IMO. Just keep them on during TAC to much down time between shots. Especially when groups get stacked up on the same shot.

What’s your arrow set up? Would be a awesome video! Like to hear from a old head about the change over time in arrows and what they are running today

Hey , thanks for the question!
So I have ran multiple arrow weights, spines, FOC, vane, and feather configurations.
Back in the 90’s when speed was the In thing, and I didn’t know any better… I ran some light / short arrows with an overdraw. I would not recommend that to anyone 😂
This past season I hunted with 512grain GT hunterXT. I think they were around 15.5% FOC. They seamed to group well and had good target penetration out to 50 yards. Blows right through the whitetail deer and buried in what ever is on the other side. I think that arrow is a bit over kill for deer within 40 yards. Probably going to build a 425 to 450 ish arrow for next year. Pin gaps on a heavy arrow are crazy. I built a 380 grain arrow recently ONLY for the 111yard truck shoot at TOTAL Archery Challenge. They hit nearly 2.5’ to 3’ higher than my 500 grain hunting arrows at 111 yards. I can use my 88 yard pin with them! Sorry to ramble on. I love this stuff and like to talk about it! I will try to get a video out next year. Thanks again!!!
