I love my Chuck Taylor 2...best pair of casual shoes I ever bought. I bought a pair a year ago and got it in mainly black with white and a small tan strip at the back going up. Very versatile. Think imma get a grey pair next since blue isn't as versatile to switch out with. Bawseeeee
I bought the black and maroon ones on release. Have worn it for a couple of years till they were beaten up. I have been wearing a lot of Chuck 70s since then. And a month ago I went to a thrift shop and there on a shelf almost never worn, you couldn't see any trace of use, a black and white Chuck 2. I bought it for €25. Great to have that one in my rotation again 👌

+edson adrega Yes, the new "Lunarlon" sole from Nike included with the Chuck II is supposed to be much more comfortable than the original.

The originals are more comfortable, I had both pairs, the 2s hurt my feet, and it’s hard to put on. The originals are more for me, because I have a flatfoot, the 2s just feel weird.
