@@christopherckarkson5605 The reason why its a neat idea is as follows. Doesn't need a huge change in the law. Just one line in a finance act. No need to repeal anything. The BBC has a duty to collect it. If they don't they break the law. The cost of collection far exceeds the 1p they get. Heck you could even offer a pay in advance, get a 100 year license for £1. BBC to compensate at £100 a year if its cancelled. Because you've paid, its a contract.
@@simonchilli2088 I am a little devious at times. I've just had another idea. The state's pension debts are all of the books. Pensions alone, £600,000 So what if Reform sent a personalised letter, looks like its HMRC to each person on their 18th birthday. You can get the names and address from the electoral register. You send them their statement on that date. The usual threats about not paying, pointing out the Tories, Labour, Lib Dems and Greens have hidden that number. You can do this in target seats. Cost about £4K per seat per year. Or you get even more focused, and just send to the swing voters, and here, just a selection of them. One per group. There are organisations who can get you the names and addresses. ie. One per family, you don't need to do husband and wife, just one. What's the establishment going to do about that? Cat's out the bag, you can't put it back in.
We dont need experience, that will come We need integrity, aptitude honesty attitude resolve personality and ambition. How many main stream polititians have any of the above, the woke gutless shower

I've been thinking how to screw the elite. The big thing is information. So Reform, get an actuary to calculate the true pension liabilities. Then in swing seats, when people become 18, send them a bill for their share of the debts. Happy birthday, congratulations on becoming 18. Here's your bill. £85,000 for borrowing £600,000 for pensions .... Welcome to becoming an adult in the UK. Even 5% of 18 year olds, they will tell other 18 year olds. There is no come back for that.
Sounds good, except: a) Such a letter would have Reform's name on it, so they'd be associated with the bad news in some people's minds; and b) Such a move would encourage the party in power to tweak the pension rules slightly, so they could then claim the letter was spreading lies because the figures in it weren't correct.
@@Stormy177 The figures aren't correct? What figure do they present instead for the number? How do they explain why the number was hidden without admitting fraud?
@@adenwellsmith6908 If the party in power changed the pension rules (or cleared a chunk of government debt) then Reform would have to send out a revised copy of the letter with the new figures. There would almost certainly be some people who received the earlier version of the letter when the new government figures were applied (e.g. your birthday's tomorrow and the new figures apply then, but Reform have already posted your letter which contains the earlier figures because that's what applied when it was posted). Even if it was only one person who got an inaccurate version of the letter, you can be sure that the party in power would try to score political points from that.
@@Stormy177 Exactly. You need the before and after. That difference is what you have lost by the default. Nothing like telling people what those in power have screwed out of you. So in that year's statement that needs to be included. You could also add in the telephone number of the current sitting MP. Now how many people need to have that letter to swing elections? Safe seats - cross them off. Swing seats only. Same address? Nope, just one per household. Get demographic data, there are firms that will tell you who the likely swing voters are. Target them. Target the young too. Nothing like a wake up call, countering the propaganda. Again the basic question, why did you hide the debts off the books. Keep coming back to the basics. If they say, I don't believe your numbers. What numbers do you have and where are they published? Ah yes Hmmm. I don't know
@@Stormy177 So here's the letter Scenario A. The state increases the retirement age. The letter calculates the before debt, after the debt change. That's part of the loss. The second part, you are going to be paying in for an extra year and lose interest on that. So you get told about the loss Scenario B. The state increase the pension. As if it would. That increases the debt. So you get the before and after level of the debt, and your share of the increase.
And to think we have so many by-elections to look forward to over the next 5 years with Reform as the unofficial but actual Opposition. And all those Labour mask wearing MP's boosted!
The UK really does not need to change the voting system for new parties to take power. The SNP is proof of that with their 56 seats in 2015. PR is just a short cut and brings its own price. All Reform needs to do is get the momentum going and start to take votes from other parties or inspire those who did not vote this time around (and there was tens of millions of them) and FPTP will serve them perfectly well.
Totally agree. With FPTP you can COMPLETELY get rid of any party. With PR you will still have MP's who have failed, clinging on to power. Next time around, even with FPTP, Reform will win well over 100 seats.
The British voting system needs to be changed and now hopefully Reform are the party to push for this Reform should have over 100 seats, thanks for telling us the great news let’s hope we get more members.
The TUV MP joining with Reform means they get Short Money which the TUV would not get as they had only 1 MP and below 150,000 votes, so that's around £24k extra funding.

But in 5 years the damage will already be done
@@owen368 they are much worse as they are infiltrated by both Islamists and far left.
I'm loving them 2 flags ❤❤❤
Excellent news
good news keep it up ReformUK
Brilliant
I think like you, reform should set their eyes on the Holyrood election. after they did very well in the general election up here, 3rd and 4th in many seats Out of nowhere some would say. It was a very pleasant shock. It just shows the hatred for Nigel before was from SNP from not from the Scottish people.
We don’t want too many of the old Conservatives… most of them are the pits. Suella would be welcome though.
Roll on the Holyrood election in 2026….with proportional representation Reform UK could transform the political scenery up here…..YES!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing news for Farage and Reform Party just one of many!!👍🏻👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Fantastic news. Disappointed Ben Habib didn’t win a seat, but maybe next time. Onwards and upwards for Reform.
The Ulster Flag 💪🏻
Nigel for first minister in Scotland...
if only but there is a brilliant guy called Craig Houston 💯‼️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I hear you, but no, Scotland is too wee. Ironically though, at the moment, if he pushed it, he’d probably make a decent showing in Scotland, once he straightened out whether Reform in Scotland were unionist or not!
There are many seats that will not take a great deal of voter crossover to break both Labour and Liberal Democrats. The Tories are finished and I predict Reform could quite likely be the opposition in this parliament.
Every journey starts with a single step, Reform have already taken six of them.
unless it’s at Beachy Head
good good
The establishment will make sure that the first past the post system will remain.
At the next election, if first past the post is still going to be used,, we should all destroy our ballot papers, write on the ballot paper, we the people will not vote in a first past the post election.
COME ON UP NOGEL. SCOTLAND HAS A NEED OF REFORM. THE TASTE FOR INDEPENDANCE IS LOOOONG GONE. LETS GET LABOUR OUT... WE HAD NO CHOICE 🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧

Another step in the right direction…..Pun intended!
Only a baby step.
Get some bright young people in, that would help too.🇬🇧
Wonderful news !

For the BBC. Set the BBC license fee at 1p. BBC gets to keep the license fee. We get what we want.
Hello, thats still to much. They are not getting another penny from me.
@@adenwellsmith6908 ,hello, cant argue with that.👍
I like your thinking Aden.
@@simonchilli2088 I am a little devious at times.
I've just had another idea. The state's pension debts are all of the books. Pensions alone, £600,000
So what if Reform sent a personalised letter, looks like its HMRC to each person on their 18th birthday.
Others ! would be good .
Hurray. 6 Reform UK MPs.
We dont need experience, that will come
We need integrity, aptitude honesty attitude resolve personality and ambition. How many main stream polititians have any of the above, the woke gutless shower

As a lifelong Tory voter I will no longer give them my vote. It will now go to Reform
Reform is more than just Nigel Farage and people need to realise this,as i doubt he'll be there for the long run.
They have good policies and have a lot of good people.

Great news. We have to make reform uk government ASAP.
The more the merrier! Reform UK is showing it can perform. Time can only improve the voting numbers across the UK.

Think Once Reform Uk gets more people DECENT People may find some courage a, I Voted Reform UK , I am from south East London 42 now!!1
The last thing Reform needs is 'respected' politicians.
I've been thinking how to screw the elite. The big thing is information.
So Reform, get an actuary to calculate the true pension liabilities.
Then in swing seats, when people become 18, send them a bill for their share of the debts. Happy birthday, congratulations on becoming 18. Here's your bill.
£85,000 for borrowing
£600,000 for pensions
....
Welcome to becoming an adult in the UK.
Even 5% of 18 year olds, they will tell other 18 year olds.
There is no come back for that.
Sounds good, except:
a) Such a letter would have Reform's name on it, so they'd be associated with the bad news in some people's minds; and
b) Such a move would encourage the party in power to tweak the pension rules slightly, so they could then claim the letter was spreading lies because the figures in it weren't correct.
I don't know
@@Stormy177 So here's the letter
Scenario A. The state increases the retirement age.
The letter calculates the before debt, after the debt change. That's part of the loss. The second part, you are going to be paying in for an extra year and lose interest on that.
So you get told about the loss
Scenario B.
The state increase the pension. As if it would. That increases the debt.
So you get the before and after level of the debt, and your share of the increase.
Thankyou sir 🙏 for bringing us this great news godbless

And to think we have so many by-elections to look forward to over the next 5 years with Reform as the unofficial but actual Opposition. And all those Labour mask wearing MP's boosted!
They should have had 60 if the British electional system wasn't so outdated (12th century)! Break the Power of the 'squires'!

The Scottish system is a bit different. It took Alec Salmond 20 years to get into Westminster.
It wasn't No No No , it was " Never Never Never Never " 🤣
Very good to see the Ulster flag for a change the tricolour does not represent me.
Jim Alistair is superb...
The TUV MP joining with Reform means they get Short Money which the TUV would not get as they had only 1 MP and below 150,000 votes, so that's around £24k extra funding.
5 was already enough for Short Money, but every seat gets them more.
