Anyone know how to reset this game to the default factory settings without characters unlocked? I got a used copy and I think that a couple of the characters were already unlocked on my copy, such as the Master.
I remember this. I used Pierre to unlock Joker. Just spammed some low kick which turned you around and crushed highs (iirc) and you could continue it with some simple combo. There was really nothing the AI could do. If he blocks you can just keep spamming it. Unfortunately I don't remember what the move was called.. :/

+Pavel Mushinskiy This comes very, very late, but, in order to unlock characters, you have to beat the game as certain characters. Then, after the ending, the Master will tell you that you can unlock this or that character, and THEN you can do the steps to unlock them. For example, before unlocking the Master, you have to beat the game as Ryuji, then, if you complete Master's Challenge, you will unlock him.
"hardest difficulty in the Master Challenge"? there's no such thing because the Master Challenge starts out easy and gets more difficult - though Joker is never really easy. Since you're in stage one, he's as easy as it gets. Try fighting him in Stage 11...

Managed to get to around level 80 but this sick Joker just got meaner, quicker and slicker as the levels grew. Totally destroyed me. Great game.
