As an older white man... I find black women’s hair beautiful... love it... forget the wigs and stuff !!! 🙏 greetings from Texas 🤠 The world in general has forgotten that we are all humans and are here to share and mingle together - we are all more similar than different 🤔
I got captured by your wedding day video. Saw them prior but didnt really know who this couple was. After the wedding video I got hooked. Alex is soooo Jamaica mon. He is such a keeper Kem. Loving these vidoes😃
Alex is really cool! We have accepted him as a certified jamaican we are not offended...no problem as long as love and respect is at the core of a relationship you guys give us good vibes.
You both seem to be authentic and accepting of each others true self. I hope you continue to grow together and enjoy each other for the rest of your lives.
I truly love to see this couple, Kem & Alex, together; their honesty, & respect for each other, really shows how much they love each other. Yes, I agree, Alex is a keeper. He thinks before he speaks, so as not to say anything disrespectful or hurtful to Kem; as he asks her first to make sure if she agrees with him if it is OK to say something before he says. That shows how humble he is, & that he cares about her feelings about her culture, & the fact that she is Jamaican. I hope that The Lord continues to bless them with much love, success, & happiness! 11:45PM
Alex you are One of the luckiest men on earth. Kem is amazingly beautiful with a beautiful smile. My 2nd wife had wonderful long reddish brown hair that was so very beautiful. At some point, she cut it because it was to much work. I died! Keep encouraging Kem to keep her hair. She is so completely beautiful. You are so blessed, I love your interaction. Continue to love each other. I must follow you two so I can keep an eye on you two.
That was sooo sweet, he was determined to let you know you don't need a wig , just your hair as it is or braids is beautiful! Appreciate all the love and acceptance!! How lovely to watch!! ❤
Kem you have beautiful hair. Alex's candor of his love for your natural hair was heart felt. "just embrace your natural hair". I am 100% in agreement with him. These past 10 years So many of us American women of color have/are embracing our natural hair and it makes us look and feel fearless. Thank you for sharing this segment of your blogs. Tee.
We, like you, are an interracial husband and wife, and my wife is Afro-Latina Cubana. I’m loving the similarities here - so fun to watch and compare. And a lot of Jamaican-girl things maybe could also be more generalized into Caribbean-girl things, due to the journey of Africans through the Caribbean through the centuries? Of course then each island-nation formed their own culture and flavor, which is so magical to observe - really beautiful. But this video caused some fun convo between my wife and I - thank you 😊🙏
I am Jamaican and I am never late let’s start there, I think Caucasian men Accept Natural hair more than black menI like that he’s a very down to esrth
I'm Swedish and have been living with a black Dominican woman for a year and a half now, here in Sweden. I first need to go back to your video about how it's like being a "interracial couple" in Sweden and in the Carribbean (DR). Don't know if I'm glad or sad to hear that it's not just us that feels like an animal in the Zoo while taking the bus or the tram in Sweden... Also the similarities between the women of Jamaica and Dominican Republic seems really strong even though not having the same culture and language... Bless!
I'm a black woman from the South and people are obsessed with cleanliness there too. You'd better not get caught slipping at any time, not a hair out of place, teeth not brushed, or something. Your house had better be together or don't have guests over. 😅
Welcome back guys missed you. As a Jamaican we follow that saying this is Jamaica we don't rush to do anything. Myself though hate being late. That principle is really great to stop you from stressing and feel relaxed, but unfortunately the world we living in now especially europe is so fast and always stressed. I think most black people do tend to speak loud not just Jamaicans.Yep music is in our blood once you hear our music wanna dance and makes you happy.
1) CP or colored people time 2) Yes, we Jamaicans are adventurous when it comes to cuisines around the world BUT fact is that our Jamaican food is the BEST!!!! 3) Yes, we’re aficionados of all types of music from around the world and music is a part of our daily lives. Music always playing in the background. 4) Yes, keep the hair natural because you’re a natural Jamaican beauty! All the.Best! Keep having fun enjoying each other’s company! Cheers!
Hi Kim and Alex. My husband is British and he is always waiting for me to get ready. He and my friends always tell me to be ready an hour before the actual time ha ha. I’m always whining and twerking on my husband he just accepts it. I taught him to whine too. He also can cook some Jamaican food now…he loves Jamaican food and now can’t eat anything without seasoning. I call it Jamaican time
I agree music is everything, music Changes Everything. Makes you happy when your sad. I'm Jamaican yes. Growing up there is a lot of music in the house
Kem, he is so honest, humble, sweet handsome just breath taking to see you both. May God continue to bless you both and just take care of each other. You are just the sweetest young lady.
I agree with Alex re the food. Jamaicans love Jamaican food wherever we go. We feel like it’s the best in the world and so whilst we will try other food and love them, there’s nothing to us like our Jamaican food.
“ 🎶🎶Jesus you love me too much oh, too much oh, too much oh excess love ohhh....🎶” Love it, really missed you guys. Thanks for the content and some good laughs, enjoyed it. Keep safe👍🏾🤗
Love you guys and Alex do not apologise for saying black, white, people of colour,.... Also your views are yours. Nothing wrong at all. You're a nice man, very respectful! Nice to see you again guys!
I think interracial couples seem to have a lot more fun. They’re more interesting to watch and VERY respectful to each other. They’re down to earth and willing to share with each other their differences in calm and unique ways. just imagine if the world was filled with them. A lot would be different. but keep us divided is what killing us.
Kim just say thank you to Alex when he pays you a compliment. Love that he accepts your hair and all. He’s a genuine person . Beautiful couple! I call it Island time… Hawaiians are the same like Jamaican time , never in a rush🤣
I am black and I am always punctual. I hate when people are late, as if they don't care whether you have been waiting for hours. For me it's a lack of respect. People talking loudly hurt my ears, very often when somebody is talking loudly to me I have to tell him/her to tone down, I feel bad to say it, but I have to.
I agree with you. I hate being late and have to wait on someone who say that they will be there at a certain time. If you are going to be late, just communicate that you are. I don't think that it's a culture this, it's just a disrespectful thing to do. I also don't like people talking too loud. I'm like, 'hey, I can hear you, tone it down ' lol
Love, loved this video and miss you guys. Jamaican or Swedish "You are each other's person." Alex is a very kind, thoughtful guy and very careful in his comments, He somehow shared the truth in love and respect. I love that. Now Alex, without "souping"up Kemalta, as she is special, we know. What are the positives or not so challenging parts of being with a beautiful Jamaican Woman. ☺
I looooove this! Dwl I’m Jamaican. Always late. I have long locs. Takes time to groom my hair; I don’t eat rice dwl i use ginger, pimento, scotch bonnet pepper and fennel seeds in every dish except porridge lol so yeah this was tooo cute. Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️😘✊🏾

Hello Kem and Alex, African-Americans use the term CPT (Colored Peoples' Time). Many, not all, Black people project their voices while speaking. I like that Alex does not want you to relax your hair or wear wigs. He loves you for the right reasons. Alex does not fetishize you! Natural is best
Him saying that Black women' should embrace their "beautiful" hair the way it is is such wonderful thing to hear! It's sad that some Black men or Black people for that matter don't feel the same. Society I suppose.

Just came across your channel. You both are such a cute couple.❤️ I love rice also. 'Your hair is the crown you never take off' ...loving your hair as well Kem. Stay blessed❤️
My rice and peas is tha best, you can put butter in white rice only, it taste great. I personally don’t like waiting on ppl if we set a time it should be respected. Love how natural and respectful you guys are . Am Ghanian and I don't like it when people are late for an event or appointment. For the sunday morning music, try 'So will I " its a beautiful song
I put butter in my rice and every one love it. I've cook rice n peas for large crowds before and every one love it. Coconut milk, escallion, thyme, primemto , powder seasoning etc
I love this video yes this is so true. We as black women need to take the time to maintain OUR OWN NATURAL HAIR. With braids or other natural style. HEAT IS NO GOOD. Even I wear a wig out of habit. But as a result over the years my HAIR HAS FALLEN OUT. So now I am beginning to take care of my natural hair. There is no excuse for a black women not taking time for her hair. I am the first one at fault my sister. After 59 years. Today is the first day that I am using my own homemade hair oil. I love your channel.
Okay I like all the points you guys raised but for me I was listening for Alex to mention your/our typical Jamaican Accent (Queen's English or not) that flows so naturally from you and it even evident that it sometimes resonantes into Alex as well
Well that’s pretty. I Dont know where you are from in the US but where I live we say ex. The person is running on “Jamaican time” if they are late or very slow in task
I think most white husbands would want us to embrace our hair. Whose hair are we embracing when we have to have those wigs. Why dont we embrace our natural beauty and elegance. I am married to a dutchman who now seasons all the meat and fish we eat. He also love our caribbean gravy and rice and peas. I am from Barbados you know the similarities.
You mentioned your hair, my suggestion as your hair is natural like my own. You could put your hair in chiney bumps or instead of pulling them out you could put them in twists. There are products you could buy to help keep the twist from unravelling. Another idea is what you said which is the wearing of wigs thats another option. It will keep your hair protected from the harsh winter weather, but still give your natural hair space to breath sometimes. But its better for your hair to be kept natural and your fiance likes your hair natural. Variety is the spice of life, so change up your hair but keep it natural. Never relax your hair it will damage your natural hair and costs too much with all the products you need to buy to maintain it. Stay natural.
By the way, being loud is not a Jamaican thing or even a "black" thing. Yes, I am loud sometimes and have a big voice, but I have several Italian and Greek friends who rival me any day - and acknowledge it freely. It's fun telling loud family stories. 💖
Good to see who guys was wondering 🤔 when you were going to be back. This is in General for Caribbean women qe have big hearts 💕 qe love hard and white men say we are great lovers. I know I am Married to one. And that chocolate latte color its beautiful to see. Lol 😆 ❤💋
I was thinking about you two a lot this past week. Was wondering why no posts. Happy all is well. Great points Alex. We ( black women) love our natural hair. We wear wigs, braids and weaves sometimes for a different color and hairdo. Colored People Time(CPT) is an old expression used indicating "colored" (black) people are usually late and running on their own time frame. My brother is one of them, haha. Kem created Alex in a lab then broke the mold. He is just too good to be true. Great post guys. Keep them coming please.
About us been Late Alex you were too nice talking about that😅😅 Am in Germany and am always late😬 not for important stuff like offices but like Date's or meeting my friends 😄 But am doing better.
Everything stated definitely outlined clear identifiers of a Jamaican. I think there are also specific slangs and the dialect (pronunciation of words) that identifies a Jamaican wherever they may go. Jamaicans are passionate and driven people. There's definitely an entrepreneur spirit that lives within the people of Jamaica and so, whatever they endeavor they will achieve. It's nice to see the intermarriage of two very distinct cultures. It will be further interesting to see which culture your children will embrace. Children are always unique in how they choose to identify. The God of the Bible is Love and He created every Nation on Planet earth and our differences are meant to be celebrated and an embraced.....
I'm African (Nigerian), I hate being late. We call it African time, but I'm not really cool with it. My 1pm is 1pm. I love your natural hair Kem, it's beautiful😍😍 Good to see you guys again.
A pat of butter on the top of the rice is to help keep it moist as it sets by creating a barrier against evaporation so the kernels keep absorbing the moisture in the covered pot after cooking. If you're in a very humid area, or use coconut milk, it wouldn't be necessary. Letting it set up properly after boiling, and not over boiling, is the secret that works however you make it. Sugar has no place in rice unless it's rice puddings or cake. As far as 3C-4C hair, you can't rush demanding hair. It will make you pay for skipping steps and not giving it proper attention. The reward is versatility. He's not lying about us being on a different clock, even Afro Hispanics have our standard time delays 🤣
Where she find this white man at that loves her hair and is against her straightening it and wigs!!! He’s a keeper girl.
They do exist boo we ourselves don’t accept our own hair think everything else is better
A lot of them prefer your natural hair
I don’t know what is happening to many black women, though their hair is their own business. They are still shackled in the minds.
@@twingytwango6971 its because society standards of beauty as well as the fact that a lot products don’t cater to our hair.

I love you 2, hope you both will have a good life together with lots of love and respect for each other. Don't forget that "communication" is key to a good life, and I will mention again 'RESPECT EACH OTHER". Have some lovely kids and live a good life together. Peace and Love 💘
“black time” is REAL enuh 🤣🤣🤣. My son said, “mom you have no concept of time 😆😆
Love how natural and respectful you guys are . Am Ghanian and I don't like it when people are late for an event or appointment. For the sunday morning music, try 'So will I " its a beautiful song
I don't like to be late for anything, I sometimes try to be a least 15 minutes early when am going anywhere. Glad to have you guys back.🇬🇧🇯🇲
I put butter in my rice and every one love it. I've cook rice n peas for large crowds before and every one love it. Coconut milk, escallion, thyme, primemto , powder seasoning etc
I am a Jamaican and I endorse this message. Kem you have a keeper. Alex is a treat❤
Good to have you back
I love this video yes this is so true.
You hit some good points some of them my husband agreed with you Alex
He is a real keeper. He wanted to say CP Time in the most respectful way. I love you guys.
Alex saying" Jesus Christ" that's sooo Jamaican.Love you guys glad you're back
Okay I like all the points you guys raised but for me I was listening for Alex to mention your/our typical Jamaican Accent (Queen's English or not) that flows so naturally from you and it even evident that it sometimes resonantes into Alex as well
Wow!! Finally hear somebody don’t put sugar n butter in their rice n peas. Couldn’t agree with you more👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I am happy for both of you. Much grace
In the U.S. we call being late CP (Colored People’s) time. It’s an African thing.
Well that’s pretty. I Dont know where you are from in the US but where I live we say ex. The person is running on “Jamaican time” if they are late or very slow in task
Am Kenyan and here it's called African time,I love you guys
Sorry about your channel being hacked. You both make me so happy.
Regards,
The Godly Princess.
❤️❤️
I think most white husbands would want us to embrace our hair. Whose hair are we embracing when we have to have those wigs. Why dont we embrace our natural beauty and elegance. I am married to a dutchman who now seasons all the meat and fish we eat. He also love our caribbean gravy and rice and peas. I am from Barbados
you know the similarities.
"Around the corner" is usually in giving direction and that is 5 miles from where you ask the person to where you want to go!!
Yes that's the way with Jamaicans talking loud. I have been practicing to talk softer and slower. He hit the nail on the head.
❤️❤️
By the way, being loud is not a Jamaican thing or even a "black" thing. Yes, I am loud sometimes and have a big voice, but I have several Italian and Greek friends who rival me any day - and acknowledge it freely. It's fun telling loud family stories. 💖
Don't forget the Hispanic Culture(very loud with big voices)
@@gracitajohnson1880 lol - so true.
Kem and Alex i love you two i can sweet you both love each other God bless you both.
You reach him well the Jamaican accent. Yuh a de boss. Loving it.... 👏👏👏👏👏
About us been Late Alex you were too nice talking about that😅😅
Am in Germany and am always late😬 not for important stuff like offices but like Date's or meeting my friends 😄 But am doing better.
Love Alex little Jamaican accent. Wedding coming yeahhh.
Love Mr Alex real yard man 😂 love you too Ken xx
Love u guys...stay true...and keep it real 💯. Beautiful couple and I love how Alex embrace his true, authentic Jamaican Empress
Glad to see that you are embracing each other's culture.
I'm African (Nigerian), I hate being late. We call it African time, but I'm not really cool with it. My 1pm is 1pm.
I love your natural hair Kem, it's beautiful😍😍
Good to see you guys again.
❤️❤️❤️
Well i must encouraged you that don't live your life to please people because some don't understand true love
And its only one race and that the human race and that is the whole true
Keep going and live your happy life with each am proud of you both
That's true about being loud even when we don't need to..
Beautiful couple! Stay together and blessed.
He really loves you! It’s so beautiful to see. I’m rewatching videos at this point 😂
Hahahaha Omg
I am admiring the both of you, continue to be as humble as you are. Lots of blessings.
Thank you 🙏🏼❤️
