Fellow 660 owner here... wondering what your GPS setup is... Thinking about doing this BDR laborday weekend... any thoughts on how the factory tires did? Was wondering if I should consider changing them out to something more dirt oriented.
I use the Trail Tech Voyager on my 660 as well as my dirt bike when traveling. I taped into the USB port for power. If memory serves the TT Voyager only needs 0.5amps and the port is a 3.0 (0.9amps). It keeps my phone and GPS at 100% most of the time. I ran the Heidenau K60 rangers for the NEBDR. I know the route had some flooding last year and wanted a off-road oriented tire (70/30) just in case. Now having completed the route, I think a standard 50/50 (k60 Scout) tire would be fine. The stock tires never inspired confidence on gravel...front end never felt planted. Thanks for watching...GO RIDE>
Outstanding. Nice representation of the NEBDR.
Cheers welcome to Canada I do hope you will enjoy your stay 🇨🇦
heck of a trip!
Fantastic! And I have seen them all. Thank you. Hey, what tires did you and your friend use? Or recommend?
