I never got too see Aida. But my mom bought the soundtrack and we always listened to it when we were kids on long car rides. Funny that the fist of the songs talks about time when this brings up so many memories. I hope someday I can see the whole thing.

2 Awesome musicals. Both unforgettable. No doubt. Hope that Aida comes back to Broadway. Almost going to MN to see the travelling show, although after seeing the original, I just don't know...biting my fingernails....

This is one of my favorite musicals. I love the music and the whole story. My high school is doing this right now. We are on our tech week and we have our PIT going too. I love being on running crew but there's only 5 of us on Running crew and it's pretty crazy at points. But our director is amazing because he does the Illinois All State shows so we have the best director in IL. And our Cast, Pit, and of course CREW is amazing. I can't wait for our performances. it's gonna be fun. :)

I can't suggest a specific song, for I don't know what character you want or your range. but if you're looking for pop-rock, I would suggsest Aida, Jesus Christ Supersar, and RENT.
