Long time LRC user and recent LR convert....Lots of problems w/ synching between the two...Question: How do you move pics created in LR (say from iPad) onto my LRC (and thus my PC w/ a 4 media back up system: PC/Ext HD/NAS/AWS Glacier)? Move the collection to a folder? Copy it to a folder? Use the NEW Adobe LR Downloader? What does each step do w/ regards to creating duplicates (and are they full image (CR2)-RAW? W/ accompanying side care file of edits? (Thus 2 file) or Previews?)
Great video. What's your advice on using multiple drives. I've just got a r6 mk2 and the amount of space I'm using now is crazy. Already running out from my 1tb hdd.
Thanks for this Mark. A question: When you’re in a Collection simply selecting an image will show details including the name of the folder it’s in. Clicking that takes you straight to the folder - easy. But what of the reverse? I’d like to be able to select and image (from a Collection or a Folder) and then see all the collections that it is in. Is this possible and, if it is, how do you do it?
It's exactly the same Peter, in the folder structure, right-click on the active image and from the drop-down menu, you'll see "Go to folder in library", or underneath this " Go to collection", and you'll have a hierarchical structure with all the collections this image is in - just click on the collection you wish to see the image is in if more than one.
Answered my questions - exactly. Thank you
You're welcome!

You can use multiple drives, using smart previews they don't need to be connected at the same time, or go for a large USB drive - amzn.to/3Q5tSu1
Ooh perfect site as still getting my head around LRc🤨subscribed & binging your videos, you are quite clear which I like.
Ha! I use 2 Fuji 102 mp and a 50r medium formats. Joeg plus raw is about 200mb each. My tiffs are 700mb!!

Thanks @@lightroommark I though there must be a way - I just didn't' see that it does exactly what I wanted.
