A liitle trivia..... in the mid 80’s I met Steve in his suite at the Bel Age hotel in Hollywood to transcribe his Rebel Yell part for Guitar World Magazine. Total gent and an amazing player. He gave me a cassette of a piece he had recorded that went from jazz, latin. Rockabilly, blues, pop, rock to metal still have it somewhere..... love your work and playing Richard!
INCREDIBLE deep dive into a mostly underrated steve Steven's habits/phrases ! *CANNOT WAIT FOR PART 2* He doesnt solo and rip all the time but when he does- man he can hang with the best of him not even getting into his rhythm stuff , white wedding, rebel will always be riff and rhythm masterpieces to me - thanks for all your wicked content before and during covid mate be safe where you are in your side of the world and cheers from Niagara falls canada ! Keep rocking 🤟🙏😊 - Adam
Thanks Adam! I'm really pleased you've been enjoying the videos- that's great to hear. And absolutely- Steve is a monster. I really believe he's one of the most unique-sounding rock guys of that era: awesome melodic sensibilities and chops but never sounds dated and always plays for the song! Thanks again and, likewise, be safe!
Excellent job as usual Richard!!! 🔝 I've always dug that video from Suhr!! Really appreciate it dude! Thanks! By the way... I'm sure you know the Jerusalem Slim record which Steve recorded back in the 90's (just before Vince Neil Exposed if I don't get wrong). I see that on you tube there are no lessons on any song from that album, but I think there are some cool ideas as well. You could make some some lesson from that material. Check this tracks for example : Deadman, Attitude Adjustment, Gotta get a hold. Hi from Italy and keep on rocking! 🎸🎶🎸
Steve's playing on Vince Neil's album was phenominal!
He's the man!

Checked out a bunch of your vids! Great stuff
Thank you, man!
Another great vid, really glad to have found a channel that caters to my taste exactly! Could you do a video on your rig and guitars?
Thanks man! And yeah, for sure! My main amp is being repaired at the moment but once I have all my gear back I'll do a run through of everything.

@@RichardWatson ...thanks! You are an animal my friend! 😜🎵🎼
@@Terry_Aki Haha- thanks man!
What effector and amp you used?
This is all just my Kemper profiler (Diesel profile) with a little delay added in Logic using the Echo Boy plug in!
*sigh* There has been a glitch in the Matrix... ! Let's see who spots the awkward deja vu edit I missed!
Eb ?
@@stillworking64 That's not the glitch I meant but I definitely should have mentioned that! That's for pointing it out Mr T!
