They do voices on air. If I heard someone saying "gachi gachi gachi" I still would have not known it was them. Of course even if I did I would be too nervous to go ask them anyway. I would also be happy that no one actually goes and bothers them.

I mean a lot of them don’t go out much and when they do they hide certain things that would give them away like pekora and her laugh. Ame said she saw fans wearing her shirt but kinda avoided them. There is a difference between hearing someone you know and just hearing someone’s voice you listen to without being able to place a face. And honestly I feel like even if you do recognize them it wouldn’t be a good idea to approach them because there’s a 95% chance it will make them uncomfortable more than anything and I personally wouldn’t want them feeling afraid of going out in public if they actually have someone approach them.

What i see constantly glossed over in the comments is the type of relationship that Okayu and Korone have. These two dote on each other like high school sweethearts. Per a recent clip I saw the two answered the question of "why don't you live together?" The answer being that Korone actually needs her alone time, korone acts the extrovert on stream but is actually the more introverted of the two and can get frustrated being around too many people. She doesn't want to be that way to Okayu so the live apart. That said, while they have never specifically said it as far as I know, thir behavior absolutely says that they aren't just best friends, they are lovers, they kiss on the cheek a lot but have admitted to kissing on the lips, they get jealous, particularly Korone if the other even flirts with somone else. In this case Subaru was being a meddler, for whatever reason she likes to meddle with these two. She knew what she was doing and it was interuppting a romantic date.
I wonder if it's just a restaurant near the studio, or if they actually go out of their way to go to a really good restaurant. Also, I thought they were kinda wary of going to restaurant in groups without private rooms.
Its a more common experience then you would think, especially if you have a big family, a lot of friends of are well known in the community you live in
