Great Picks! Very true, a great experience with others often makes it a top game for you! The top game I would like to try within this group is 'Qawale'. Dorfromantik: I would teach newer gamers this as you said there is no losing. The unlocked content & campaign adds replayability. I did not like the competitive bidding and tactics of Key Flower, but I would probably like Key Flow as I like building up my town and resources. After playing Wyrmspan, I would try Wingspan as I get the combo tableau now.

Draftosaurus is such a simple yet phenomenally intriguing game! And yes, you've got to try the expansions. Marina brings my favourite new mechanism, but the Arial show is still a good time to mix things up once in a while. I really wish the 3 boards lined up better though!
When I see Cubitos it reminds me a bit of Automobiles, which is another bag building racing game. Have you played Automobiles and does it compare in any way, or are they really very different games?
Don't mess with Cthulhu was hard to learn on my own. However, once at the table, it was such a blast! Again, another great purchase BECAUSE of you boys! Keep up the great work!

I'm with you here. My list (and collection) is filled with different games since having young kids. Draftasorous is the only game i've played on this list in the past year.
If I played 100 different games in a year, even games I disliked would end up on my list. I would like to see a list of top games for teaching a concept and/or games that inspire historical research. (They reminded me of the tulip bubble recently and it seems like an intersting way to talk about history and a bit of economics and fomo to my children.
