Extra stage is sort of in between first and second stage, it's after Takumi beats Ryosuke but before team Emperor arrives in Akina

Extra Stage is set just before 2nd Stage after Takumi defeated Ryousuke. Extra Stage got 2 episodes each and released only in home video (OVA) never aired on tv. The CGI got improved here as an OVA, the studio got more time to polish the animation than tv airings.
