I've been using this method to breed my thylo's. Some babies still get stuck with the door frames, but you can just punch them out. Another thing is when I jump off them I end up getting stuck in the ceiling. But I just demolish the ceiling & it's all good.

If the babes get stuck on wall, mount n un mount the parent beside, don't nerd to move adult, just mount, they will turn around, then un mount and Dino will do another 180" and bam!! Babe falls :)
I've tried this exact set up with mine not on wandering and all on passive, and every-time I go out of range or log off/on, they fall off.... any suggestions? It's such an amazing set up and I really want this to work!

I tried building a breeding pen like this for my thylas and I’m not sure if a couple of updates removed the features of this method or if I’m screwing something up. I cannot get my male to breed with anything more than 2 door frames away on either side. Is this something than an updated blocked or is it something I might be doing wrong? Is this pen still working for you?
Love your vids man inspired me to try to start mass breeding but quick question how do i reduce the time it wants me to imprint on it because i currently have it at where it matures before i can do the imprintings.

I tried to implement this method on Ragnarok and every single Thyla falls off when I go out of render distance or when I log off. No matter whether they are wandering or not. For now, I just stay in my base for the 35 minute gestation period. My babies also do no drop to the ground. I've got three high stone doorways and stone hatches (all not vanilla).
One thing I've figured out how to get babies unstuck when using this method is to jump on the Thyla which will face them up, then rotate the camera to face them down, then rotate up to face them up and jump off. The wiggling around usually makes the baby drop

Hi great content you have just subscribed. I have a question about colour mutation. I got only one out of 300 thylacoleo and not too sure why. That was on the wild pair green colour. I mostly breed the high lvl dinos with quite few parents in the family tree. My thylacoleos has health 6020 stamps 2100 weight 780, dmg 375. Thx for your help.
Welcome to the Community! Color Mutations can be a bit iffy. Have to keep in mind Mutations can be passive and not even show on the dino. you could have gotten far more mutations, but they could have been stat mutations and/or have been completely passive. Its just the luck of the draw. For a Higher chance of Dinos showing a color mutation, try and get parents with the same colors. I got over how to do this in a few of my breeding tutorial Videos.
So my understanding is that it doesn't matter if the dino is wild or has few ancestors. Obviously as you mentioned the best results is achieved when they are of the same colour. I will try with my power twin lvl276 both male and female :). By the way thank you for your time.

I use hatchframes and hang the male by the front legs, he can then mate with 3 floors of females at once, make the ramps n place them correctly n you can bounce the babies a few meters back into one pen for easy claim/kill
😂 you must really like it when ppl call it a Thylocaleo then...in many of our defense until we seen the name, the letters were blurry as SHIT back when this game first came out on many setups.. It wasn't until I needed a new video card in my mancave system so hopped on the wife's budget system that I could read it clearly.
Breeding Interval and baby maturation rates vary depending on the server and by dino. each private server will have their own rates which can be modified in the game.ini

I think kart of the thyla problems is up to some of the doorways being backwards, the side with the thylas on should be the one that is fully clay

i have level 400 thylos on official and crazy cool colors, but i've been looking for a good breeding pen and this looks perfect
to stop them from falling u could make the bottom one a regular wall with a ceiling attached and delete the ceiling when moving them

Seems like they only drop when there is lag and the structures dont load in fast enough. Thankfully getting them back up on the wall is easy enough

Yeah if you have something with high movements speed structures wont load in fast enought to prevent them from falling :/
If the put them on door frames the baby’s would fall down onto the other side of the thylas
also have a quick question when breeding I've been told two different things is it the base tame stats that's transfered or the leveled?

The way I did this is make a circle of walls and put them in and they can't move around to mutch
I still have stuff fall through on my official server, so I'm pretty sure it just has to do with when things render into the game.

That would be the mutation. If it's not a stat or color mutation, it's a level mutation.

Non-ridden dinos do not lose stamina.
We built this on your vanilla server and I couldn't even mate them successfully without them popping off, it wasn't effective for me
I always came back to wandering thylacoleos
Also the babies wouldn't fall for me and I'd have to wiggle the thyl as to get them free then some more would pop off and it's a big mess
did you find a fix? i tried switching off between s+ structures and normal ones still they fall off in about an hour of hanging
