The ideas of having packs is getting extra help in combat/singing, you can add any animal even if its not a dino nuggy to your pack. Legend has it that there are a few ultimate creatures with 250 hp, massive damage and sing, that are running solo and can be found in the wild, you gotta get one of 'em

Do you mean the Epic creatures? I don't think you can ally those...the only one's I've ever met were immediately aggressive. Unless you mean the ones that are bigger than normal, but smaller than epic, and I've only ever met aggressive ones of those, as well. I used to play this game all the time, but haven't recently...I need to get back into it sometime...
Hey if I remember correctly you can use alt to detach and retach limb nodes and the A key to use asymmetry You should also try going out into the ocean to try catch fish
There are cheatcodes in spore, I assume you won't use them, BUT, to get access to them just be in the editor and press "ctrl + shift + c" it will open a panel, from there type "help" for a list of codes, my favourite is "addDNA" since it gives dna points :D Also, great video!
Hey Intern, just a tip, but you can move around with wasd. You don't need to keep clicking. Also, if you're unsure of how strong an opponent is before fighting them, you can go to the pause menu to use the spyglass tool to select a creature and view it's stats.
You need to get your final nest very very close to water, at tribe stage you'll be able to farm fish for food and at city stage you get boats early game

Yep, the Elite version of animals. A lot harder to befriend tho so you need better parts for singing and charms and such
