I remember banging the old lady to this😅 Rare Bird along with ELP gypsy and the great Jeff Beck were my favorite groups back in the day😊 Rare Bird were and are criminally underrated thank God for KSHE radio in St Louis or I would have never heard of them😊
Hardly anyone knows of them now yet they were the most creative band , talented. His voice was lush.. can't quite understand why they didn't make it big. Still play their music. 🙏⚘️⚘️⚘️🐾
I just heard that Mr Stansfield, keyboard with the beard, has recently died. He was my amazingly inspirational music teacher in the late 60s at my junior school in London. Thank you for all you taught me.
Box set is out containng six albums all remastered including a live performance from 1974. Beautifully put together reviewed by classic album reviews on Yt.
The most underrated band in history. Epic Forest is one of the best albums ever made and if there is a better psychedelic album than As Your My Flies By I've never heard it and I have been around for over 70 years. Thank you for posting this live recording of a truly great band.
Saw Rare Bird in 1975 supporting BJH at the Brunel Rooms in Swindon by then they had abandoned the twin keyboard set up for a 5 piece with lead guitar completely different sound from the early stuff as the title of there fifth album testifies Born Again This was the third reincarnation of the band Such a shame they didn't make it big Epic Forest is another superb album
Too little is known about this supremely talented and highly creative band. I listened to 'Somebody's Watching' on vinyl time and time again. Wasn't this the band Bob Harris had some connection with?
I absolutely loved these guys back in the day and there's still one of my favorite bands however they get absolutely no love from anyone not even from these TH-cam music Channel guys like Barry or Scott. Rare bird like Focus or criminally underrated😢

I LOVE Rare Bird and have all their albums...too bad this is a lip-synched performance--it from the studio recording. You can hear the acoustic piano come in at 2:21, and no one is playing it.
Gran pezzo, i Rare Bird sono stati un grande gruppo molto sottovalutato
Rare Bird..loved these guys since 1969..that first lp was a Killer!!! All of them are musts!!
Steve Gould was up there with Greg lake!! Vocally excellent!! Still a regular listen!! The first 2 LPs are incredible!!
Such an underrated band, but the his voice should be remembered more .... so unusual and full of soul 🙌🌷

Back at that time I worked with his brother Roly, I remember repairing the Lesley rotating horn at work, in the BT tower London
A trick: watch movies on KaldroStream. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Axel Arjun Yup, I've been using kaldrostream for years myself :D
@@nikolaigerardo1168 dawg. Shut up

Danke. Fürs Senden ❤❤❤❤😂😂❤Danke
Absolutely fantastic! I love first two albums.
Два органа супер. Парни сделали гораздо больше, чем многие более знаменитые и удачливые. Одна из любимых пластинок ещё со школы
Truly fantastic to see these guys playing live.
Many thanks for posting.

Sorry to break your bubble 2 years later, but this performance is lip synched. That's the studio recording you hear.
Amazing footage! Had no idea this existed, until today.
You're such a great drummer.. It fits.
Thanks!
I just love these guys and especially this tune! Still have three pieces of vinyl. As your mind flies by is still my favorite though!
Great band . Have all their records. Fantastic to see this footage as so little out there!! wow!

I'm close to your age and I agree both Rare Bird and gypsy are criminally underrated and blow anything away that's out nowadays.
Epic Forest is so good, I have the CD and every now and then I just have to listen to it.
